Watch out seniors and people that are infermI never in my life felt with someone that was crooked in a bank. Bank united, New York is professional and wonderful. No, Scam!!! Scam S she should be fired jailed given a felony and be fucked for grand larceny

Oh my goodness, The only reason I choose this bank was it's proximity. Issues with website, ATM is hit and miss. Bank of America at least answers the phone. Not this bank.

The service was poor. The teller was very unprofessional. They said they didn’t have any money for my withdrawal when I offered to take a cashiers check they wanted me to pay for it. When I asked for a supervisor the teller just pointed her out instead of trying to get her for me.

BankUnited investigated me and treated me like I was a drug lord! I bought a dishwasher using PayPal and soon after changed my mind to buy a smaller size; I was refunded the money through PayPal, this was a "red flag" to them. I invested money in bitcoin using my Coinbase account, the largest cryptocurrency firm in the world. I was treated awful, they wanted to see all of my account activity, they demanded to see copies of my paystubs even though I had direct deposit with them. They were mean to me and even though I proved that I made well into the six-figures for the income they still reported me to the IRS, and so days later the IRS sends me a letter telling me how they have been informed that I have "bitcoin and cryptocurrency activity" and demanding more information. I don't cheat on taxes so I'll deal with this, but who wants to be treated this way? They treated me like I was a drug lord even though they can see that I'm a VP for a Fortune 100 company. I'll be closing all of our accounts with them and finding a new bank! What angers me is HOW I was treated, not that they confirmed about my activity, and especially that they reported me even though I proved that I make FAR MORE money that what they were talking about. The money they were talking about was a few days pay to me! I'm furious that they reported me. How would you like to have them make you prove why you received money from Paypal? I told them I was afraid to move money from other investment accounts through them because I feared another Spanish inquisition! I think they did this out of spite to me just because I was angry at being treated so poorly by them!

Worst experience opening an account ever. Lack of training and information from vendors to open an account. I don't recommend to anybody. If you wanna keep your money safe don't go to this branch. Good customer Service but lack of information was missing from the check account.!
