“My husband & I accidentally came upon this store one night when we happened to park in front of it during a night out in Wilton. We both immediately saw this beautiful blown glass chandelier in the window & agreed we wanted it for our home. We called the next day & spoke with the owner Robert. He was so kind & informative about the chandelier. We made arrangements to come back & make the purchase. In the interim we did some online research and found we were getting an amazing price for the chandelier compared with online vendors & auction houses. When we returned to make the purchase, Robert & his husband took special care to package the chandelier & glass carefully for our transport home. This was our first antique / vintage shopping experience & we feel hooked already ! Definitely check out this shop if you're in the area & looking for some cool & unique items.”

“It's crazy how the smell of books is nostalgic now. Walked in and felt like I was transported back in time. Such a unique and important spot in this day & age. I could spend hours in here browsing their literal floor to ceiling selection while ambient music plays. They have some artifacts & Found books from the 1800s. Amazingggg little book shop in South Fl & the best part is, its FREE unless you choose to purchase a book.”

“I’ve wanted to visit this store for a while, but had never gotten around to it. I’m so glad that I finally did! Pim, the owner, was so helpful and kind. She took the time to speak to me about what brought me in and intuitively helped me to find exactly what I was looking for and needed. I will definitely be returning and highly recommended visiting.”

“Just left WBW antiques and collectibles and I was absolutely blown away with everything in this store. For anyone who appreciates history, nostalgia and just all around good people (Joey, Jessica and Dell), you NEED to come by and pay them a visit. Not only is it an incredible collection and a time capsule of interesting items to look at but you genuinely have a great time looking and reminiscing on the good memories from your childhood that these things will remind you of. I had a blast hanging out with the owner Joey and the amazing customers and staff, Jessica and Dell, that work here on site. Way back when antiques and collectibles will be a place that I will be more than happy to support and I hope you guys stick around for a very long time to come! - Stan”

“Super cute little vintage shop. Loved picking through some of their awesome fines. Lots of Judea and silly little random things. If you're in the area, definitely give them a look because there's many fun hidden treasures!”

“I have never walked out of that store empty handed! Love the furnishings and the art. Most of the pieces have a history, meaning they lived with another family prior to being there, but the idea of repurposing and continuing the life of these amazing pieces is heartwarming. Even the small knickknacks really enhance one’s home. There’s no other store like it.”

“What a great experience shopping at Vintage Vault. The items are truly one of a kind pieces for your home that you will not find elsewhere. If you're looking for a unique find, this is the place. Prices vary from beautiful candles to large furniture. These are not cheap cookie cutter pieces. The staff was amazing in assisting me. The owners go above and beyond from A through Z, including delivery of my special piece. Can't wait for the holidays to return to Vintage Vault and add to my decor.”

“Karen from Antiques & More is the greatest! While the store is in the process of relocating she made a house call and bought a collection of porcelain figurines that I no longer wanted. She gave me a very fair price. Can't wait to see the new store. I wish them the best in their new location.”

“Antiques and Jewelry By The Sea is an eclectic shop that sells unusual very reasonably priced jewelry. They collect all sorts of items. Jewels of rare antiquity (Roman glass ring set in gold during the Victorian era) , vintage signed pieces (Kutchinsky, Tiffany & Co., Ruser), rare custom pieces (Cartier) . They also have a an unusual display of antique ivory items as well as vintage quality costume jewelry. Something for everyone!I had spotted the Roman glass ring on eBay and since the shop is local I called AAJBTS to inquire. Samantha and Joy opened their shop for a private viewing during the COVID August 2021 pandemic. Such a great experience. So many fabulous finds! It’s a gem box by the sea! I learned so much from Samantha who is a well versed expert in jewelry. .”

“It was an absolute pleasure dealing with Craig Mayor recently. He is fair, honest, and extremely knowledgeable and personable—a breath of fresh to deal with and talk to! I would highly recommend DAFA, as well as its sister company Abington Auction Gallery, for selling valuable antiques. And I look forward to perusing DAFA’s offerings in person next time I’m in Florida. Thank you again, Craig.”

“If you are a fan of mid century modern, this is your store. Mid-century modern refers to a design and architectural style that emerged in the mid-20th century, roughly from the 1930s to the 1960s. This design movement is characterized by a focus on clean lines, functionality, and a seamless integration of indoor and outdoor spaces. This design is also characterized by bold colors and geometric patterns with atomic age influence. Mid-century modern design has had a lasting influence on various aspects of art, architecture, furniture, and interior design. Mid-century modern design continues to be popular and influential today, with many contemporary designers drawing inspiration from its principles. The timeless and versatile nature of mid-century modern aesthetics has made it an enduring and widely appreciated design style. There is a whole neighborhood I enjoy visiting in Miami dedicate to mid century modern design. Once you know the style of design it is easy to spot it. I discovered Previewmod after attending a Yelp event that was held a few doors down. As soon as I came in I was greeted a friendly hello. I loved exploring the small but carefully curated store. They had so many interesting furniture pieces, art, home decor, and even clothing and jewelry. My favorite piece was a marshmallow sofa by Herman Miller in bright red from 1956. It was selling for $3,895 which seems quite expensive but mid century modern is very popular today. Like in all things it is always best to do your research before buying. I did like that they had a lot of things I had never seen before anywhere else and would be very much at home on the set of I Love Lucy. As a fan of history and architecture, this store was a fun discovery.”

“The coin shop is in a fantastic location and the staff are incredibly helpful. They take the time to educate you on the coins you're interested in and provide guidance on buying and selling strategies. However, I did notice that the price offered for buying gold bullion is a bit low, with only a small premium added for American Eagles above the spot price. On the other hand, the prices for buying bullion are very reasonable. The shop boasts a vast selection of coins, including many rare and uncommon pieces that caught my attention. Overall, I had a positive experience at the shop and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good selection and knowledgeable staff.”

“I contacted Abdul about spray painting a parson table base and two door cabinets. He answered the phone promptly and when I called back in a couple days after i had sent him some pics he had a reasonable quote ready for me. He told me he'd be away a few days which wasn't a problem for me. To my delight within two days after being back he called to tell me everything had been completed!!Abdul did an excellent job, was courteous, and quick. Many people or businesses don't even return your call let alone give a quote.I highly recommend him with 10 stars! He told me he also makes furniture (two pieces which i noticed during pick up) so I'm thinking about asking him about a quote on a console I'd like made.Thank you Abdul.”
