Keep up the good work!
I made a donation on 12/28 and I haven't received the donation receipt yet. I contacted you several times in the past few months but I didn't hear back from you so I thought I would google reviews.

We are so impressed with the compassion, knowledge, and skill of the GRR team. They did a wonderful job of helping to match us with our perfect new family member, while ensuring we had the knowledge and supplies we needed to provide the rabbit with a great home. There was a wondeful team of volunteers at the rescue the day we went and it was great to see how they loved the rabbits. If you are looking for a new member of your family, we definitely recommend GRR.

They don't just adopt out rabbits. They also educate you about the proper care of your rabbit including references to veterinarians

I fostered and then later adopted my guinea pig Moe from Gainesville Rabbit Rescue. They keep all the guinea pigs at Susan's house, so I haven't been to the actual facility before. But, Susan was so helpful, kind, and knowledgeable about guinea pigs. When I was fostering, she gave me everything I needed and was very flexible and happy to help. I continue to go back and visit and make donations because of the impact Susan and Gainesville Rabbit Rescue had on me. I couldn't be more grateful to them for helping me find Moe.

Adopted two wonderfully curious and playful guinea pigs from this rescue. Kathy spent time with me over the phone answering questions, as I was unsure if it would be better for me to adopt a bunny or piggie due to space and other restrictions. Sue assisted me with my questions on guinea pig adoption. She was extremely gracious during the adoption process both over the phone and during our visits. Please do not purchase your new family member from a pet store - there are so many little ones waiting to be adopted.

It’s basically one lady running the operation along with some volunteers. They are always under staffed, they will never return your calls or emails. She is condescending, knows very little about rabbits outside her immediate scope, complains about being at capacity but takes months to find homes for rabbits, there is a clear bias involved and despite always being “busy” never really gets anything done. I have been on a waiting list to adopt a rabbit, a waiting list to foster and a waiting list to volunteer my expertise. You should adopt over buying from a pet store. Adopting from here might take a while.
