I was told that I could get 2 free phones ($1,000 credit Promo for each phone traded in) and a get a monthly rate around $40 a line with the adding of 2 new lines. My monthly rate was $150 a month and I only received a $600 credit hit each trade in phone. Bait and switch. I called corporate Verizon. They were excellent. They gave me a couple of $20 promos for only 12 months to help me out.
Note: My monthly rate with T Mobile was only $35 a line. I doubled the monthly rate of what I was paying. I was very upset with the store but very happy with your customer service reps.

Stay away from Russell Cellular in Wildwood. Although the location is convenient the customer service leaves something to be desired. The manager was working this morning. After waiting over 45 minutes the customer ahead of us walked out. She laughed, told personal stories and could not be bothered to multi-task or move things along to help other customers. When it was apparent that she was not going to wait on us anytime soon we ended up leaving. Nothing phased her as she was full throttle into silly stories and time wasting. I have no problem waiting my turn but efficiency and time management should be addressed at this location.

For starters the system kept dumping the data that was entered. Next the system kept denying me address. Then to sign me up for WiFi the system put in an address 20 miles away from where I live. Then I spent many hours on the phone trying to navigate that putrid automated system to get help trying to get up and running. The. The next day a woman from Verizon changed my plan to almost double my cost without my consent. Still no service. Then the following day a man said the eSIM had not been properly configured so he had to reset it and that cut me off completely . I had to drive 20 miles back to the store and the manager finally resolved that problem. I am still waiting for a signal booster to be delivered to get half a signal. This has been an extremely frustrating experience for someone who is 83 years of age who needs phone & interned service due to medical conditions. Poor explanation of the come on sale left much to be desired. Then the crazy billing and I worked in accounting most of my life. You need a new programming system for clear & understandable billing. I know part of this is the Dumb Verizon system but it all ties together to not be a good experience in all honesty. I will say that now today at least I have very slow service which is more than I had to this point.

It was too long of a wait time and the seats that you have in the store are so hard to sit on for a long period of time .

My GF went in here and was told the only case that they had that fit her phone cost $60. That is 700% more than I paid for a similar product.
This is a good place to go if you are filthy rich and don’t mind being taken advantage of.

Best experience I've ever had at a Verizon store! Dale helped me set up new phone and was a true life-saver, heroically went above and beyond, did everything in his power to assist with very difficult challenges, could easily have not invested the time and energy he did in finding solutions, truly thankful and have so much respect for his patience and commitment to excellence, skillful expertise and creativity solving problems. Phenomenal work truly, can't recommend this location and team member highly enough, thank you for helping me navigate a very scary and challenging situation and get back on track, meant the world!

Absolutely terrible experience. Will botched our service transfer from AT&T, confirmed by his superiors/customer service, and his superior Susan was unable/unwilling to help. We spent hours in that store, followed by multiple hours on the phone over the last 2 days with Verizon and AT&T with nothing but excuses from both. We were told by Verizon customer service that we would have service within 24 hours. My 86 year old mother has been without phone service for going on 3 days now because these 2 companies can’t communicate. Where is the accountability here? Hello corporate Verizon? How do you plan to rectify this terrible situation? We will never choose Verizon again. Ever.

We considered switching our internet and phones to Verizon, so on a Friday we went and talked with Arroun (sp), the manager at Russell Cellular, a Verizon store off of 44 and Signature Road. He seemed quite knowledgeable answering our questions and explaining how to upgrade my phone, trade in another phone, how to 'plug and play' the internet, etc. He gave me a new phone that had less memory than I wanted, so he said he would shop around and find me one and then let me know when he had it; I could just come in and swap phones. We asked what we do if it all doesn’t work out the way we’d hoped, and he said it’s no problem, we had 30 days to bring it all back and cancel everything. Seemed pretty easy to us.
After a full week of trying everything to make the internet work, including getting an extender from the Verizon Company Store, we decided the internet just wasn’t going to work for us. Since he never called about finding a phone with larger memory, I decided to return that, as well, and keep my own phone.
Ten days later we went to take everything back and cancel the deal. We were informed that they do NOT accept returns there, that we would have to go to the company store in Lady Lake. He would not take back anything that he said he would, causing us to make the drive to Lake Lake and try and return THEIR products, which they typically do not want to do.
I learned that Russell Cellular is known for just making the deal whether it will work or not, because they get paid on the deal, not on the return. Maybe that’s true, maybe not. What I do know for sure is that I would never recommend anyone to Russell Cellular. The manager is deceitful, and their help, including one girl who wouldn’t even get out of her chair when we walked in for help during that week, need to learn the meaning of customer service and integrity.
Stay away from Russell Cellular! Take the time and go to an actual Verizon Company Store. You’ll save yourself a lot of time and angst.

Please send your email as I had a terrible experience after losing my cell phone for two weeks. I am afraid of the current manager. I have been a Verizon customer for 30 years and will be contacting Verizon about this horrible experience. I am a Villager and 78 years old. I will be contacting the Sheriffs office.
