Cleveland Clinic Florida is an absolute joke!! Never get a PCP inside this clinic. Every time you call to be seen as a sick patient, the first available appointment is at least 3 weeks out or they tell you to go to a walk in. They refuse to even send in eye drops for a sty without seeing you. What's the point of having a PCP if you can never see them when you need to? This is a constant problem. The only benefit to this place is all your doctors can see records. What's sad is your own doctors advise tge appointment issues are due to CC quotas. CC wants them to meet certain quotas for # patients seen, # of tests written etc. it's basically a sweat shop. As a hospital or to come for a specialist appointment is fine but this is no place for a primary doctor, steer clear!!!!!

I came here for a cardiac CT scan and I was a little nervous about it but I really had no reason to be as everything went really smoothly and every person I had contact with was just wonderful. When I first went to check in, there was a pretty long line, but the line moved quickly and by the time it was my turn I was greeted by a really sweet woman who had me checked in in a matter of minutes. I had to wait about 15 minutes before I was called to the back for my appt. Once in the back, two nurses, Will and Nicole explained every step of my procedure. I'm absolutely horrible to draw blood from because I have really small veins and hate needles but Will was excellent at drawing my blood , joking around with me to keep my mind off of it. Nicole was so kind and when I told her I had a headache she promised to get me something to drink as soon as the test was over. Not only did she get me a drink after but she brought me a nice treat with different cheeses, fruit and crackers in it. They both went way above beyond providing excellent care and I'll be writing to their supervisors to let them know how lucky they are to have employees like this working for them.

Believe the amount of 1 star reviews and go somewhere else. Leaving now with almost exactly the same amount of excruciating pain i went in for because the doctor decided I wasn't even worth his time. I herniated 2 discs in January and went to dr's hospital where they actually checked what happened, gave me adequate pain meds, steroids, and explanation. The same pain showed up today and I was in Weston so went here - the dr (dr Ethan Heit) literally didn't finish one complete sentence to me. He barely said hi, walked off. Then a random woman came up to me asking questions she didn't bother to listen to the answers because she was huffing, puffing, and writing them down wrong - terrifying to think what kinds of mistakes are made here. Also, filthy. Thank goodness I wasn't sick depending on a decent environment. The nurse was kind but for 6 hours of me telling them what worked last time, the dr (who asked me a single question himself, only checked my reflexes and was confused why my right leg reflexes hurt me when the pain was my more severe in my left lumbar but didn't care to do a scan) prescribed a medicine that if I had been asked would've been able to tell them has had no effect on me. I asked for steroids because that's what worked last time to get me better for the week(s) it takes time to see a specialist. I wasn't asking for pain killers, no controlled substances, nothing controversial. To be clear, they didn't do a scan to check if something had worsened so they took my word for what the problem was but not on the solution that had worked. Reckless medicine when he literally didn't finish an entire sentence or let me explain and the nurse obviously didn't explain that this had happened and I had the information that worked. Next time I'll drive the extra 40 minutes to Dr's hospital where serious medical professionals care. Truly scary.Update: My mother tried calling the ER to help us and they ridiculed the fact that I got the name of the pack for the steroids wrong (which I then googled and got... and it's not like I was asking people in the medical field right) I did telemedicine and they immediately said the right thing is to do what worked last time and gave me the steroids. Absolutely go anywhere else, you're better off with telemedicine that actually listens.

We arrived at 6AM for Max's colonoscopy. We quickly checked him in so I could get a cup of coffee. Surprise, surprise! They had a full on breakfast bar. While I didn't feel too sorry for Max, I indulged myself with a plate of bacon, sausage, and eggs. They say hospital food is horrible. Well, I must be dining at the Ritz. I hope patients are served the same meal I had because a hospital stay would be worthwhile. I checked on Max a couple of times and the nurse at the station was so kind and pleasant. Hoping Max gets out of surgery early enough to come back to the cafe for a second round.

If you need help from the ombudsman office make sure Hemma isn't the employee helping you. She's aggressive, unprofessional and gets easily overwhelmed which makes matters worse.

I had a knee joint replacement. The surgery went well, but after there is zero follow up and pain management.Nobody checks on you; there was supposed to be a case manager but they never called and you cannot get anyone to adjust the pain medications. You never see the surgeon again, just a physician assistant after 2 weeks and there listening skills are at the level of an oyster, not to mention no bedside manners. For orthopedic surgery, avoid at all costs unless you are a glutton for pain!

The emergency staff is great. Apparently, they still believe in saving lives. Its been about 3 months now since the hospitalist at Cleveland Clinic Weston referred my 96 year old mother for hospice"care". I took her out against medical advice. They said she would never be able to eat without choaking again. Her Margaritas are the only thing that makes her cough...but I think it's worth it!All they know how to do is protocols! Her gp has a lovely personality , but she is constantly referring us to specialists...even for acid indigestion! What do they actually learn in med school? We have a visiting nurse through BlueCross/Blue Shield. She is just perfect. Comes to the house, writes prescriptions, orders x-rays and blood work...all from the house. I would love to Ditch the Cleveland Clinic Dr! The visiting nurse actually listens to what out concerns are and makes recommendations instead of going down a long list of protocols while totally ignoring the real problems we have!I called mothers GP this week and said she had terrible arthritis pain(the Dr. Just took her off Tylenol). They suggested she go to the ER! Thanks alot, but they wanted me to take her to the pulmonary Dr. and she has no breathing problems! I am so done with Cleveland Clinic!Stay FAR away!

Absolutely the WORST operation I have ever experienced. You will be on hold for 12 to 28 minutes before anyone answers. Then they will transfer you to a different number. Then, if you're lucky, you'll get a person on the line. They will tell you they have nothing to do with this and they will have someone call you back. No one calls you back. You then do the same thing 3 more times and give up. It's a very sad situation. They simply do not care.

Scheduling is a complete nightmare. I would go with a place that’s more reliable — they canceled my latest infusion with barely 30 days notice, and before that messed up the schedule enough that I had a relapse. The center itself is great, but what good is it if you can’t reliably receive care?

Hospitals are not my favorite place to be at all. However, after having to spend the night in several, I can tell you that Cleveland is the one I rather spend the night in. Super clean Good doctors Great location Now of all the things this hospital offers ,, I can't believe they don't have a freaking coffee machine for the people who are waiting for patients in the emergency room.I had to make a panna run for some coffee at 3 am so it's pretty insane that they didn't think of that !All in all though if it had to be anywhere , I rather it be here hospital wise.

My appointments are for the most part very on time. I have met some awesome doctors and some of the most uncaring and unhelpful doctors in the USA working here. They have all the necessary equipment , supplies and staff to help you get better but they prefer to let you come back over and over to do one test at a time. Nothing is an emergency. I do wish they would have an option to let you go in and do all the testing necessary to figure out what's wrong in one visit or if they worked together being that they're all on MyChart.
