This was an awesome, amazing visit. We learned so very much. Raldolfo and Andonio (I'm sure I've misspelled their names) were so very knowledgeable and extremely patient and pleasant. What has been accomplished in this community garden with the limited space will amaze you. There is so much growing and growing well. They are resourceful with what they have, and it works. We attended one of the classes that they put on to educate you on growing. It was very hands-on, not just talk and observation. So you get to experience the process they were teaching on. Take some time and find an opportunity to visit the community garden. You will be glad you did.

This place is a well kept secret here off Wabasso drive and Okeechobee Blvd. If you want fresh vegetables that will not cost you an arm and a leg, this is the place to come on Saturdays from 9 to 1 and Thursdays from 1 to 3, I think

Thank you for providing our neighborhood with affordable and healthy food! We love your garden, we live on Genessee and try to walk down as much as possible. Love the lettuce! Also love the green tomatoes, they can be hard to find in stores. I have 2 tomato plants and a poblano plant that I bought from you that keep producing lots of veggies for us. I also love bringing my daughter to show her where fresh food comes from. Its a great bonding time for us. I hope you guys do toddler crafts more often so we can participate! We will be a customer as long as you're around!
