Yesterday I went to Star Liquors II Liquor store, located 8983 Okeechobee Blvd #218 I was checking my Florida Lottery Tickets at the portable scanner in the store - however it was not working - it was flickering, similar to what happens when there is a technical problem with a computer - I brought this to the attention of the store and the person insisted it was working and refused to check my ticket numbers at the cashier unless I was purchasing liquor - I know stores get compensated for selling lottery tickets - but unless you are buying liquor at the store the cashier will not check your ticket numbers - this has happened several times - but it was not clear until yesterday-the only way the cashier would check tickets is if you too was buying liquor - regardless of the scanner working or not - I too contacted the Florida lottery commission for policy regulations concerning stores having scanners and process when scanners are not working Poor customer service

A great selection for a local liquor store. I am willing to pay for convenience. Besides they also sell Lottery tickets! They sold a Million Dollar Ticket a few years ago.. I also buy my tickets there. Great selection of Bourbon, Rum and wine! Service is always friendly.. it's always neat.. right next to Publix is so convenient! I highly recommend!

The guy always marks everything waaaaay up. Even the regular stuff like Tito's and Crown are more expensive. He somehow gets some nice bourbon but then marks it up 500%. Not a typo.... Tries to get $399 for a bottle of $65 Elmer T Lee. Go anywhere but here.
