So disappointed. I have had my Nordstrom credit card for over TWENTY years. I even worked for the company for more than half that time. I have NEVER had a problem using expired or processing expired Nordy notes, and yet today they turned away two of my nordy notes that only came out to $30. MY PURCHASE WAS GOING TO BE $300. The attitude about it had always been sometimes the customers don’t have time to spend them on time (but they DO spend because you HAVE TO to get Nordy Notes, it’s NOT a generous reward system) so they were honored anyway. Plus for so many years the store prided itself in its employee manual only being one page that says “use your best judgement.” Disappointment is an understatement. I left on principle without buying anything at all. The cashier did not bother to get a manager involved, I would imagine that $270 in sales would be more important than the $30 nordy notes but clearly the company is going downhill. I knew retail was not doing well but this is just heart breaking to see this company and “brand” go down this way.Update: I was able to use my notes online. So.. I don’t know what they’re doing there.

Dante A at the register was clearly intoxicated and completely unprofessional, unhelpful, and completely out of it. He could barely speak or answer questions, completely out of it. Please drug test your people and train them to work with the customers. No customer should have to be facing intoxicated employees.

I went to Nordstrom Rack today, and the visit was very unpleasant. I went with my wife to return a dress and that was good. The store representative was very professional. However, we did some shopping as well, and the cashier at the moment was very unprofessional. First, she called us to pay for our items, but she didn't pay attention to us until a few minutes later because she continued working with some clothing while we were waiting. Later, I saw that a shirt that I wanted to pay showed no discount at all, neither the 65 % that had the aisle from where I took it nor the 20% extra that was offering the store today. I told the cashier that in the same place where I got my shirt, there were more shirts like mine and that the store was lying to customers. She gave neither importance whatsoever to my statement nor talked to a supervisor about the issue. I was in shock. The store is lying, placing merchandise in a place where customers will be getting a discount, but when they pay, if they are not paying attention like me , they will be charged for more. I have been in this situation before, but I have been treated with respect and not that I was the fool. Sorry, but I cannot give more than one star to a very bad experience at this store. It is sad.

Worst experience of returning regular items in WPB outlet.I went to return a few items a few days after i bought them, and the cashier was telling me I couldn’t return them, and i still don't know why she refused to do so, even though I could and the Nordstrom Rack app processed my return order easily.I kept asking to return but she wouldn’t let me return them, and was giving a very rude attitude.I asked for the manager, and she came and just told me the same and took the cashier’s word instead of checking my account to make sure if i really could return them or not. She didn’t check my account at all and just agreed with the cashier. After an hour or so, and i tried to return the same exact items at a different cashier at the same store. The new cashier easily scanned and returned the items in less than a few seconds.I hope there can be more respect for the customers and more responsibility, and that the MANAGER would check the cashier’s work before just taking their word for it no matter what.

Do NOT use the order online feature. Absolutely archaic process of “preparing for pickup” for 10 days or more, with no other information. Actual arrival date changed AFTER it was ordered.

Disorganized understaffed extremely slow and inefficient. Son found a tshirt he really liked, tshirt had no price tag. 3 people try to sort it out, 40 minutes total !!! And you can’t leave because they took your other purchases too, so you’re parked at the cash register with zero hope of leaving. Frustrating.
