I bought a bahia sod pallet from this location of Meyer's Turf & Landscape Nursery, when I got to the location where I needed to install it, realized how bad this pallet was, and I mean basically it is just a pile of dirt, I can't pick up a square piece from the pallet without it falling apart. I came back with the pallet for them to see it and to get either a refund or exchange for it because it is not usable. They have no interest in helping me or doing anything at all, they haven't even taken the time to check the pallet to confirm how bad it is. Then I realize that I have a $20 credit card fee charge, after the guy telling me it is a 1.035% which should only be about $6. These people are stealing from their customers and something needs to be done.

Went in to buy sod and asked if it was fresh and I was told yes. I did not load it so I did not see it. Got it home and it’s dead!!!!! Went back less than 24 hours later and asked if I could exchange it and was told no. I said I would pull it up and bring it back and they will not accept it. I would never have purchased this sod had I seen it before loading. The sod on the side of the street was fresh so I trusted them. I’ve spent $1000s here but I’ll never go back now. I was not being rude just asking what I should do and the guy wouldn’t even look me in the eye, just down at the computer. Said he’s laid sod like that thousands of times and it comes back to life. I feel sorry for those clients.

My experience with Meyer's Turf & Landscape Nursery South has not been a good one. I would NOT recommend them. We purchased a pallet of sod and upon bringing it home, we realized that the sod below the top layer was yellow and brown. We immediately called and were instructed to text pictures to another number. A few minutes after texting, we received a reply recommending that we lay the sod "consistently watering for about 2 weeks. By then, it should look better. If not, please contact us again to see how we can resolve this." The sod quickly went from yellow to brown, and we updated them via text with current pictures. No response was given. A week after purchase, we went back to the store. We shared pictures of the sod with the employee, and he admitted that the sod looked rough. He told us that we would need to talk to management, took down our information, and told us we should receive a phone call from management at the beginning of the week. After no callback, I called them. I was told by the woman who answered the phone that she would need to talk to others familiar with our complaint, and I would receive a callback. After hours of no callback, I emailed, and again, no response. I called again the next day and was asked to text the pictures again. She agreed that the sod did not look good after the pictures were received. She said that my complaint was going to be relayed to management and that a callback would happen the next morning. Here, I sit with no callback again. This company does NOT stand behind its product or its word.
*** Edit: Neither my husband's phone nor my phone has had a call, text, or a voice-mail from this company in response to my complaint. Nor have they responded to my email. All information I have given is 100% accurate.

To the Owner, I already called many times and that didn't go well, for all I know I was speaking with you because no one would provide their name so I find the response to be very disingenuous. You failed to assist me and call me back and based upon the many negative reviews and negative experiences by others on the Nextdoor app who had the same experience as I did I do not take your response as sincere. If you were sincere, you would've returned my numerous calls instead of hanging up on me and you would've reached out to me immediately after reading my review instead of posting something that looks good as a comment on yelp. To the Owner's Response: I already called many times and that didn't go well. WARNING!!! DO NOT EVER Ever GO TO MEYERS TURF & NURSERY IN WEST PALM!!!! Not if you value your money! Or your sanity! They do not value their customers or trades people who keep them in business. I called a couple of days ago to see if they had Croton mammy in 7 gallon in stock and how tall they were. They said "yes and they are three feet, really nice"....Okay great. Today I sent my guys there to get 20 crotons ( which are way more expensive than I would normally pay for them). I paid for them like the dumbass I am over the phone. My guys walk in their nursery look at them and say no way these are small, no where near 3ft and not nice looking. They're not going to match the rest of the crotons on the job site. The client will be unhappy. I said okay. I called Meyers back to tell them we are not taking the plants & to refund the money. Should have been easy, am I right? Nope not even close. Myers did everything they could not to give me my money back. Even tried to up-sell me to a 15-gl plant (for more money & they only had 5 anyway) When I protested the lady said "well we can give you a store credit." Are you kidding me!?! No way, you need to credit me my money back because we still need to buy plants. She said "ok but we have to charge you a restocking fee." Are you fucking kidding me!?! We never even moved the plants from where they sit in your nursery. My guys looked at them and said no. And you are going to charge me $200 for restocking!?! This is how you treat people? So she ended up charging me $100 for a restocking fee for plants we never even touched. And that was all they would do. So y'all shocked and saddened that this is how they treat their customers. The sod that I purchaseddied with in 3 weeks of installation. I watered 2x daily as instructed. I sent them documentation and it fell on deaf ears. I am not a big client just someone who wanted a nice place for my dog to lay on. When I was removing some of it, I saw what appeared to be grubs.
