Do yourself a favor and do not go there. I have been there several times and it's always something but today I had a hair appointment at 10am and turns out only the owner was working today so she was behind after being told I'd be seen at 10 she didn't start my hair until 1pm and then she kept taking other people in between which kept making my wait time even longer to take my hair dye out. I ended up finishing at almost 6pm! On top of that all she did was highlights and a $5 end trim and my toga was $160!!!!! This isn't an upscale salon where I'm sure those prices are standard. This place is very shady and always changing prices. Recommendation: go to Dominican Hair and Nail Studio by Nina in Lake Worth and save yourself the trouble they are amazing there! They were all booked for today which is why I tried here again.

I’ve been going to Imagen Hair Salon for over 10 years. I absolutely love everyone there, especially the owner, Alta Gracia, and her aunt Nona. I have incredibly curly hair and a super sensitive scalp and I always enjoy my visits because Alta Gracia does great color, great cuts, and great hairdo’s. Nona gives the BEST scalp massage during the wash, and I fall asleep every time. The atmosphere is always happy and you’re treated like family. Everyone is nice and welcoming. The staff is superb and always attentive. I wish this salon and its owner and staff the best and continued success. You can’t go anywhere for better hair services. I highly recommend this place.

2 stars because they do a good wash and great relaxer. However, the other aspects of hair care that are necessary are seriously lacking here. Firstly, without an appointment no one wants you. I had to get stern for Alta to finish my hair although she frowned and tugged at it throughout the entire blow. Secondly I have been here several times and not once has here been hair care recommendations like clipping my ends, deep condition, relaxer, or hot oil treatment. If you don't know that any of the above needs to be done, you will not receive it. And if you don't know the health of your hair, any issues will never get treated. Also, during blowdry she won't apply heat protectant or oil to your hair before or after completion if you don't ask. I find this extremely disturbing because you're paying money to have your hair taken care of and they don't seem to care. I have been going to Dominicans since 2003, and in these last 15 years she is my 2nd one only because my stylist in Fort Lauderdale moved back to DR. I'm actively and desperately searching for a great Dominican hair salon that cares about their clientele and not just see you as an income. And if you're not their friend, forget it. You get a rush blow out so they can get to their friend, meanwhile you're left to walk out looking worse than when you walked in. I can't tell you how many times my husband has asked me as I walk in the house 'I thought you went to the salon'. So that should tell you how poor the overall service is. I only still go because they do give a good wash and I cannot wash and style my hair on my own. Doubt I'll be going back though. Will continue my search.
