DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. GeoArm is dishonest and refuses to support its products. They have a negative reputation amongst other alarm monitoring companies.In mid-November, I contacted GeoArm because a door sensor had died. Since the sensor was only two months out of warranty, they were unwilling to support their product unless the manufacturer (DSC) confirmed the sensor was defective and replaced their stock. So I had to open a troubleshooting ticket with my monitoring company and DSC who confirmed that the appropriate solution was to replace the sensor. GeoArm still wouldn’t replace the defective sensor, but proposed that I purchase a new replacement sensor and return the defective unit to them for testing. GeoArm agreed to refund my costs if DSC tested the part and confirmed that the sensor was indeed defective.So I purchased the new sensor on 11/14/23 for $59.99, returned the defective part, and paid return shipping. But then, even though DSC confirmed the defect and replaced their stock on 11/29, GeoArm only issued a partial refund of $26.05 on 12/12. GeoArm claims they only owe the price I paid for the original part ($26.05) on 9/19/22, not my cost to replace the defective part ($59.99) on 11/21/23.

I have had monitoring services through GeoArm for probably 15 years or more. They're reasonably priced, reliable and generally very prompt in calling to check on me when my alarm has gone off. I highly recommend their services.

Hello Blake(?), the last note wasn't signed, but I think it's you. I'm not trying to remediate, but rather give an honest review of my experience with your company. I should not have been charged because you refused service, and therefore you have no cause to charge me. Plain and simple, GeoArm is misleading customers, and your GM is one rude person. There is no sugar coating this because it's (unfortunately) just true. You should state in bold, unambiguous ways that you charge for ANY service, which is what is actually happening. Your sales rep, then tech rep, said you'd program the unit if I purchased kit from you. So I did, and you have programmed the unit this way many times. I've previously posted glowing reviews about GeoArm, thusly. Low monthly service fees and buy parts from you and easy. BUT THIS IS NOT WHAT YOUR COMPANY DID. The tech rep "couldn't find" the invoice for the 3 CO sensors. This isn't credible that you lost my invoice in a few weeks of purchase. Then after sending proof, me to GeoArm, he still couldn't service my account. Speaking to the extraordinarily rude GM, he said the panel wasn't purchased from you (true) and THAT was the reason to charge me $75 for 3-5 minutes work. No reasonable person would consider this behavior acceptable. It's bold-faced goal post changing, misleading, IN THE BEST CASE, FROMTHE GENERAL MANAGER, who incidentally refused to give me his full name? Hmm, why not? I'll be happy to post favorable reviews when the experience is favorable. Yelp and other online reviews give your customers an opportunity to give feed back, when you won't listen to friendlier feedback. I tried that initially, and amped up seriousness proportionately to your policy and GM rudeness. If your business model IN FACT is you charge for ANY service, say that and let us voluntarily and give your customers opportunity to consensually agree to that. But misleading us, isn't cool. After using you in a way that you previously DID service, and then in "real-time" change the rules to achieve an outcome, well, I think your customers and prospective ought to hear that. By the way, I have previously written many glowing reviews for you all, when you gave customers the service I previously received.

I had to do an upgrade of a complicated, obsolete system in the house we bought in Nashville. The tech from GeoArm did a truly outstanding job of working through problems we encountered while activating it. I appreciated his knowledge, skill and patience. It was a real pleasure to work with him to get this system up-to-date and functioning properly on the internet.

I'll give 3 more stars because company actually contacted me with tracking information and item was shipped promptly. Time will tell....After many years of service GeoArm has provided reasonable service and support. The only issue I have is that there website is cumbersome and for the most part not user friendly and pretty much useless. In many cases, very hard if not impossible to find what you are looking for. There is no way to properly track order status and order history as most all other ecommerce sites provide. No customer information is retained and logging in on the website does absolutely nothing! These issues with the website have been going on for years now and need to be fixed. This is 2023 not 1989! Get with the program people.....Update on this review. After ordering an alarm panel yesterday, 03/01 it was never shipped. The next day, late afternoon I received a call stating the panel was not in stock, in black as I had ordered. I said to simply change the order to white and was told "I can't do that, I have to cancel the order and you will have to reorder". You can't make a simple change to an order, nonsense! I then placed the new order. I called to ask about NDA shipping and was told $120 again, nonsense! I was then told that the black panel was in fact in stock so they were canceling my second order, more nonsense! Asked to please be sure to have order shipped today, Thursday 03/02 and was told it would go out today. It's now 9PM and no tracking/shipment info received, yet more nonsense! I have a system intermittently down and am receiving little to no help from this company, other than Tech support which is actually great! And they have the nerve to request I change my review to 5 stars! I'm not on your payroll so I can't help you with your website and internal problems. I did however change my review to 1 Star. I would suggest avoiding this company for your alarm system equipment needs....

Just had a fantastic experience with Shay at Geoarm.I called with an issue updating my system and was blown away with the service that I received.I truly believe Shay went above and beyond to help 'me!' I have always been happy with Geoarm but now because of Shay am even more delighted.Keep up the great job!!!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Typical South Florida way of doing business. We have 8 Animal Hospitals around central and South Florida. We have relied on these people and as of this month we have been dealing with nothing but trouble. I literally just had a guy from this company hang up on me. If you are a professional company or even a home owner, seek coverage elsewhere. We rely on our security

Another company that takes your money and does not back what they sell. Have a defective Cellular backup unit, I am not able to reach them, they do not answer the phone and do not call me back. Now I need to buy another one from somewhere and throw this 2 month $180 unit in the trash.

Worst company ever. I bought a complete alarm system from these people. It never arrived. I called their shipping dept for a tracking number. I was on hold for 94 minutes and no one ever answered (just an endless recording that someone would be with me shortly). I called again the next day and wasted another 35 mins on hold. Finally on another day, I reached a guy named Steve. He checked and said no order was even pending for me. THEY NEVER EVEN TOOK MY ORDER!!! This is the worst alarm company in America. Do not shop with them. I moved on to another company.

I have 3 different accounts with GeoArm. I have had great service over many years. Service techs Ralph and Sal are very helpful and can talk you through most any problem and change. I've added a freezer alarm, generator sensor, etc. They always help me get them programmed to do what I want.
