Horrible Program...from beginning to end!! If I could give negative stars, I would! No charitable organization should donate or support this program because they do absolutely NOTHiNG to help these families. The staff is incompetent, I'd be surprised if they were able to talk and tie their shoes at the same time. And on top of being so unhelpful the staff is rude, entitled and belittles the familes they serve. This was my very first time in my life reaching out for this kind of help, and I can completely understand why families are frustrated, mad and burnt out if this is the treatment they have been getting. This organization operated like they were NOT interested in supporting families in need. No one cares and it was disgustingly obvious... Im so disappointed and sad! Smh

They will help feed u put you in a hotel give u gas card but they have to accept u first and they don't do it right away they will give u a 10 day trial too see wat u do but they are very very strict uh they move fast too and they have alot of rules u have to follow they have meetings u have to go too every Tuesday night if u don't show up miss the meeting they will kick u out they kick u out even if it wasn't your fault like with me they said I didnt do my appointment for dress for success but I did I call these ppl they just never answered the phone they still told me I have to leave these ppl have no mercy i text them to explain what happened they just told me i have to exit the program smh and u do have to have a good job and a car

They don't accept you if you don't have a job or a car and even if you have some type of other income coming in then they won't even allow you to come back in take showers at all...

They were trying to find previous owner of phone number,after explaining that they had messaged the wrong person the lady I spoke to was very kind and informed me that she would contact the women she was looking for by her email. She then apologized for my inconvenience.

Family promise takes families and helps them get back on their feet. That are homeless due to circumstances not of there own fault! There are other programs for families that have domestic violence in the past or present. Safe houses. And programs like gratitude house for families will alcohol and drug addiction. I see people are upset that there situation is bad and maybe there is a different program that would help them better.

This is a horrible place for any family.... all the donations get pocketed by the people who work there..... they feed you food from the homes of people that didn't want their picked over/left over food.... trust me it is not what you think.... they talk down to the black families and they lie to people who asks " what happened to the other family".... they are quick to say " oh they graduated"... its a bunch of lies.. don't go for it whoever is reading this...please don't set yourself up... the names of these crooks are gregory lyons and sharla reese....

I will make this as short and sweet as possible! I was refered to Family Promise by The Lewis Center, which is the cetralized intake facility for the homeless in Palm Beach County. I am a mother of 3 school aged children and Family Promise is the only place in Palm Beach County who can assist a homeless family. I called Family Promise for over 2 weeks leaving message after message and I even sent an email..... nobody would call back! Finally I grew impatient and upset and was given a call back and told that I am not a good candidate for their program and was refered back to The Lewis Center. After letting their decision sink in I decided to call back to get a better understanding of WHY I am not a good candidate. I was told that there could be many reasons and the woman just kept beating around the bush. I had to end the conversation because at that point she was just pulling excuses out of her rear!
