If you are reading this and have been considering visiting, here is the run down and everything you need to know. Dress code is fairly casual here. You can come in shorts and a t-shirt, or a blazer and tie if you’d like. If you want to feel most comfortable for guys I would wear a polo and shorts or pants. Parking is free and accessible, with a lot attached to the property. I would recommend arriving 15 minutes before the service to take your seat. They have water bottles and coffee provided, and it’s entirely free. Sit wherever you find an opening, there are no “assigned seats.” Some weekends the balcony isn’t open, but otherwise it’s totally fine to sit up there. If you have a Bible bring it, and if not it is not a problem, one is at your seat.Family Church is very approachable! If you’re nervous that you will stand out or be called out at any point do not be. If you want to meet and speak with the pastor and church staff there is an informal opportunity at the end, but nobody will make you do anything outside of your comfort zone. The church is generally fairly contemporary, but in a beautiful classical building, with a firm Bible preaching theology. The messages are very applicable and easy to follow! It’s not an appeal to emotionalism, and rather interesting and thoughtful messages everyone needs to hear. If you are thinking about going I highly recommend. This is an incredibly welcoming and faithful church and it won’t be intimidating whatsoever. It’s small enough that it is comfortable, and big enough it isn’t awkward. There is a separate service at the same time for children, but they’re welcome to sit in the main service with you if you’re more comfortable. I absolutely recommend this church for anyone who is curious and looking for a community! Wonderful people and church environment!

Finally I find a nice great church to enjoy my spiritual growth. It is beautiful place and all people are very educated and pleasant. The Bible study group is amazing.

I have been attending Iglesia Familiar Downtown for over 5 years and I have always been impressed by the welcoming and loving atmosphere. The leadership staff are passionate about their faith and the pastor preach the gospel in a way that is relevant to people of all ages. The praise and worship are always inspiring. I highly recommend Iglesia Familiar Downtown to anyone looking for a church home.

When I first moved to Palm Beach county I visited dozens of churches, trying to find one that was doctrinally accurate without feeling legalistic. I wanted to experience the love of God in action. I wanted to hear joyful praise music. Finally, I discovered Family Church and I love it! The lead pastor Jimmy teaches straight from the Bible. Pastor Jimmy is authentic, humble, sometimes funny, relatable, and has a high regard for the Bible. He's a spectacular teacher. I've never been bored or sleepy during one of his services. The staff is really warm and helpful, you certainly will be made to feel welcomed.The congregation is friendly, welcoming, nonjudgmental. If you need prayer for something they will pray with you and for you. The contemporary music is gorgeous, each song selected is based on truth. Not only is the music uplifting and entertaining, it is worshipful and inspires the praise and awe that glorifies the Lord. I was surprised to discover the high level of talent in the music ministry. It is really a blessing. Childcare is available. There are many opportunities to connect in smaller groups. There are ample opportunities to serve if that's of interest to you. The youth ministries are really fantastic and if my children were not adults, I'd be delighted to have them involved with such encouraging people pointing them to a relationship with Jesus.Family Church Downtown encourages and supports young people to grow spiritually, to learn the Bible and to spread the Good News. Family Church has people from the very young to the aged. There are many ministries available in other languages, and services for hearing impaired people. If you're seeking a Bible believing church home, I would highly recommend checking out Family Church. If you're young, old or in the middle, married or divorced have a huge family or are all alone, whatever your background, culture, skin tone, political leanings, rich or poor, Family Church will welcome you.

My husband and I have been attending Family Church now for a little over a year. I never wanted to be a member of a large congregation because of the impersonal interaction but since coming to FC I have never and I mean never felt so connected. I love the teachings of the pastors I’ve heard so far and the way Pastor Jimmy teaches, it makes me want to learn more about the Bible.Since I’ve been coming to FC, I can feel in my spirit that I have grown and have a desire to continue to grow. Pastor Jimmy made a comment that FC is a place where you feel welcome and the church is a family church that encourages it’s members; that is the absolute truth. My husband and I leave every Sunday talking about the message as we drive home. I love Family Church and couldn’t be any happier that I became a member. Worship is beautiful. The message is Hope, Truth, knowledge of the Word, and something applicable to help you grow in your faith. The pastor connects so well with everyone; a multigenerational church. Messages are relative to today, insight from yesterday, and hope for tomorrow. Family Church enriched my faith and a great church to call "home"!
