I have rented from Alamo many times using a debit card. I was told that I could not use a debit card for a luxury rental. I did book the reservation in advance. Once I got to west palm beach airport they said no had to be a credit card. I do not see the restriction anywhere on website or the statements for debit cards at the actual rental desk. I was disappointed and will seek a alternate car rental company.

Great customer service by Kelly and Renaldo at the West Palm Beach location. The professionalism and courtesy was fantastic. They made my rental experience great! It’s because of them that I will be a loyal Alamo customer.

Rented a hybrid in Austin. Returned the car back to airport and get a notice of a $100 cleaning fee? Are you serious? We even empty the garbage from car when we dropped it off. No one said anything to us. I complained to credit card company and Alamo just stated it was returned in unacceptable condition. No photos no evidence. Nothing. Beware it could happen to you

It’s just the best experience I’ve had with anytime we rent cars, nice late model cars, clean, courteous staff and service ETC, it’s just unfortunate that I had to reserve through Price line to get the best price, when I am a loyal member of Alamo

Online check in was easy and car ready to go without having to line up at the counter. Staff ready to help as needed. Alamo always has shuttles coming and going and never a wait for more than 5 minutes either at the airport or at the car rental site. Very smooth and fast.

Had a great experience renting with Alamo at PBI. Check in was fast and simple. Went outside and a rep pointed me to a Ford Edge I said I would prefer a Hyundai or Kia she said I don’t think we have any then she pointed me to a Kia Sorento that I could take. The car was clean and brand new 2024 model fully loaded. Return was simple and the employee went over the final charges with me. Which was completely accurate unlike some of the other companies that try to charge above. Go with Alamo you won’t regret it. Other companies may be cheaper but you get what you pay for.
