Jairo helped me out and he had lots of interesting background on the history of the rum. He gave me an Arturo Hemingway Short Story cigar to go with the rum. I can’t wait to smoke the cigar with a glass of Ron Defensor, which I will drink neat as it was very smooth and tasty!”

“I've noticed this liquor store since I've been coming to the Italian restaurant across the street I'm the Yelp Duke of, but hadn't tried it yet because either a) I've had my drinks for the night during dinner or b) I'm going elsewhere to imbibe some more. However, this last Sunday during big game weekend I finally stopped. I was going to a friend's house for a watch party and needed to pick up food and liquor in one rideshare swoop.The layout is very spacious and basic - all of the perimeter walls are stacked floor to ceiling with liquor, including some way above eye level. The selection runs the gamut from the nice stuff you'd get as a birthday gift (they also sell gift bags), to that for everyday drinking to liquors with funny labels to bring in for sips and laughs at a potluck. Huge thanks to the employee for his recommendation on a roscato with such a label :)”

“My favorite liquor store! The prices are outrageously low. There’s mostly bottom-middle shelf spirits along with wine, beer, mixers & tobacco. I always score some incredible clearance deals on liquor when I stop by. Like once I found a $10 handle of Tito’s. Customer service is friendly & quick as well. They close pretty early which is annoying but not enough to not be 5/5. The savings make it worth it so just go very early!”
