I went in search of a specific product. I couldn't find it, but the young girl who helped me was the best! Products were found quickly. She has curly hair like mine and recommended another additional product to help me. All products were purchased, and I was on my way! Wish I had gotten her name!! Thank you, Ulta!

Reason for my 1 star:
I completed an online “curbside pickup. Get to the store, park at the designated parking, check in and proceed to wait. I waited 20 minutes and no one had come out yet. I waited another 10 minutes and decide to walk into the store. I go straight to the counter where you pick up orders (in store pick ups). There’s an employee literally maybe two feet away from where I’m standing. She is running the register. As she was checking someone out, I patiently waited thinking she would greet me once done. She got done, never even attempted to look my way and started to check out another customer. Here comes the store manager to ask me if I needed assistance. Hmmm…ya think? I’m thinking ‘I’m not standing by the pick up counter for my health.’
I shared that had checked in once arriving to the curbside pickup and how long I was waiting outside before I decided to come in. I also mentioned how long I was standing there waiting with no acknowledgement from the employee that was standing 2 ft away from me. It took her another 5 minutes to find my order, that was on the same cart she was looking through that seemed to only have about 4 other orders. Seems a bit unorganized, I thought.
Finally, I got my order. I could’ve driven here, walked in, grabbed my products, checked out and back home for as long as this all took! No empathy from the store manager, as if her employee not even acknowledging me was a normal standard!
News flash to the Ulta manager….your customer’s experience matters, and it is what makes people come back and recommend your store!
FYI…people also tend to share the bad experience four times more than they would a positive one!

I had an appointment today with Veronica at the Palm Bay location.
She colored my roots and did foil highlights. She did an awesome job! We changed my color and it turned out better than I imagined.
I am so happy with the results.
I highly recommend her? I’ve already booked my next service.

Don’t carry a lot of products (in my opinion) for minority women. Even if they have the particular brand, there wasn’t the variety of colors and products that I was hoping for.

Went to the salon with a wig and asked if I could make an appointment for a simple braid. It would have taken them five to ten minutes, tops. I told them I would pay for a full cut and blow dry even though they wouldn’t have to do it. They were SO mean. I have cancer and just wanted a tiny bit of dignity, but they loudly announced to the store that they wouldn’t do a wig. It was brand new with tags, but they made me feel like I had the plague or something. No compassion here. Cried in the car.

For me Ulta > Sephora hands down. Better selection of trending beauty products and better prices. Although I was sad that the Fenty Hot Choclit Fantasy gloss was sold out because it's an Ulta exclusive.

Rude, arrogant unhelpful staff. I was in trying to find the right shade/brand for my skin type and the so called associated could have not care less. Did nothing to help. I was ready to buy all new makeup. I will be going to the mall, where they actually take time to help. RUDE staff.
