  Went to Explicit Customs today because my 5 year old is fascinated with dissecting speakers lately. I asked them if they had a cheap subwoofer that my son could dissect, they went in the back, found an old one and gave it to my son, free of charge. I never mentioned (and it’s not overtly obvious) that little dude is on the Autism spectrum, and for this company to do this, free of charge, simply to help him chase his passion, absolutely made our day! I am supremely impressed with their generosity especially given that I’ve never stepped foot in their store before today. Rest assured I absolutely will in the future!

  Disappointed. I called before I drove 45 min without traffic for a JL12 tw3 4 ohm. The guy I spoke to said yes they had brand new stock. Great. Went to pick it up and spoke to the guy that I spoke to on the phone a rude guy with glasses. He’s looking all around looking under boxes. I said I don’t want an open floor model. I called and asked for a brand new in box you said you had stock. A few minutes later he comes out the back saying “ I have egg on my face” all he has was an empty box. He said I’ll sell you a floor model with a box for the same price. I said what is the price. In my opinion his response to me was disrespectful with attitude. I’m not the one who said you had a new product. I don’t have any use for the box and specifically asked for a brand new in box. If the guy says they have a speaker in stock. Ask them to put their hands on it. And if they mess up don’t give the customer attitude he drove a long way. I can’t trust that the floor model wasn’t used. Especially for a 550 dollar speaker.

  Wanted an advanced radio with certain features. Personnel were very informative provided how the process would be for the installation and what was additionally needed for the install but having 25 years of experience indicated it would take 4 hours to install was a little bit too much and at $130.00 x hr think is a little too much. Since we had already plans to travel and needed the radio with certain amenities we decided to go ahead.
