For the last few months, the quality has decreased here. The bathrooms have a broken shower for the longest, a broken mirror that was never repaired. It was a weight on the bathroom that was damaged, and they never replaced it. Some machines have been damaged but nobody takes care of themto replace things. A few months before, everything was pristine, now is like it is crumbling and soonest cares. I hope someone looks after this gym in a better way because I used to love this place. So sad

After cancelling my membership in person with paperwork signed to back it up, I was still being billed 2 months out. The so called manager “resent” my paperwork to corporate to actually cancel my membership. Update...Still being charged. I put a stop on payments with my credit card company so now the gym is calling me telling me I'm past due on monthly charges and need to come in the gym immediately to pay even though I cancelled my membership and have cancellation paperwork to prove all debts were paid and I owe nothing. Frauds! Avoid this gym! All they want is your money. Looking at other reviews, I'm not the only one with this issue.

SAD to report that Retro has gone downhill fast these last few months! I have been an ultimate member for 1.5 years. At first the gym was great. Many trainers(5) & front desk personnel to answer questions. Now NO Trainers come in unless they have scheduled clients, Retro doesn’t want to pay hourly for them to be there. As far as I know there is only 1 trainer left. All front desk people quit & all trainers quit. DM a fantastic trainer got in trouble for teaching a class (gym floor) on Sunday, to show people how to properly use weights & machines. 💪🏼 10 or more people came every time. Retro didn’t like that, they wanted him to book personal trainings only cause of the money. So he quit too. The classes are great & are taught by a few different teachers, if they need time off there are no substitutes. The last straw is the awesome janitor quit as well, he was really nice and professional, even though he didn’t have the right supplies to clean with. This gym is no longer clean! The floor beneath the machines in the front was supposed to be redone…..didn’t happen. So it’s buckled up in places. Which is a hazzard!⚠️ No toilet paper or paper towels in the Ladies locker room, huge problem! No paper towels on the gym floor either. That obviously says something about the company! They either don’t treat employees well or they don’t pay good. Crazy cause they taking my money every month! Bad job Retro! 🫵🏼 There is a gym every quarter of a mile in Florida. Will be looking for a new one, even though I love the members! Sad! Management doesn’t care about the members. 👎 I will add photos soon!

This gym is the best gym I have gone to, I have tried crunch and La but this is the best gym. It’s always clean, friendly staff, and great shakes. Marc and Sky are the two best employees. They are always cheerful and happy.

first time using red light therapy and tanning bed there, the lights in each booth shut off after a minute but the time kept going on machine but no red light or tanning light stayed on. Not sure if the booths are broken but not a great experience.

My son joined this gym during the summer. He went a few times and decided he no longer wanted to go because he is disabled and it is difficult for him to get there. In addition, when he initially signed up he was told one thing about the billing and the when he was charged differently he questioned it and was told different stories. He cancelled and was then charged additional charges. Besides calling the billing department and no one picking up, I went in twice. The first time I was told he would get credit in 10 business days which didn’t happen. I went in again and was told to give it 15 business days. It’s been a month so I called again this morning and my request was sent to the manager. I have to admit the staff is very nice and say they will solve the problem but in the end it doesn’t get done.

Kind staff. Not a big gym but has what you need to be effective. Glad to see a turf floor, trx straps, and a sled (more than just machines). Also the cleaning staff is excellent unlike my previous experience at other gyms like LA fitness (it’s bad enough to mention their name).

Terrible management. I moved and there they are no Retro's near me. I sent in my cancelation letter and when I was charged again. I called this location twice and was reassured it would be canceled. 7 months later still 30 charges on my card!!!

Tried out Retro and I had a great experience. Marc was super helpful getting me acquainted with the gym and the equipment. Will definitely Be going back!

it’s very small so gets packed pretty easily even at non peak hours

I just moved down to South Florida and have been looking for a new gym. I toured with Marc and after his kindness, the amenities, and how well the tour was, I decided there is no other gym that I would rather go to! Thank you Marc!!
