This not the friendly neighborhood pharmacy you think it is by any stretch of the imagination. Most of the employees that work here act like they are working for a Chinese prison camp with shaved heads and ball and chain to go with it. I see more happy faces from the employees at Sam's club serving pot stickers and scoobie snacks than the Walgreens pharmacy crew at 20th St/58th Ave. Please at least "pretend" to be happy about life and smile once in awhile. The pharmacist with the mask reminds me of my favorite movie Young Frankenstein so that's why you get the extra star to make Vero Walgreens a solid 2-star experience. Just a few smiles a day and I'll raise you to 3-star.

Jeanette, the on shift manager, has about the worst attitude ever. Came in for a photo pick up that was marked as ready and we had a hard time finding the order, even with confirmation number. It eventually turns out it was under an older number of mine, but regardless, when she thought the order wasn't ready yet, she had a very careless attitude about it and didn't seem to want to help in any way. Technician was off for the day and she couldn't give me any solutions and didn't seem to care at all. The whole exchange was just very off putting. On the other hand, the cashier up front was super helpful and kind! I didn't get her name, but she was very nice!

Advertised pharmacy was open on Christmas Day on their website and direct store phone line but it was not. Pharmacist did not show up. The store manager did not update website, phone recording or corporate headquarters that the pharmacy was closed for the day. This left doctors and patients assuming urgent prescriptions could be filled when in reality no pharmacist was there.

The pharmacist was extremely rude on the phone 4/28 @ 6:30 pm. I’ve honestly never experienced anything quite like it. I will not use this pharmacy again.

Just love the fact how helpful the staff is. When I asked where an item was they actually walked me to the item. The store is clean, well stocked and has great customer service. My only issue is that when customers come in not wearing a mask the store should either provide them with a mask or refuse them service. Covid isn't going to go away until everyone takes it seriously. I understand they don't want to offend anyone but they are putting there employees and customers at risk for a few ignorant people. If someone chooses not to wear a mask they need to stay home!

I have always liked this store but. disappointed that they have chosen to remove the benches from outsie the store. They were a nice touch and a blessing to older customers needing a place to wait for their rides. I never saw anyone vandalizing them or loitering in the area! You have definitely done a disservice to your senior customers!

Tuesday 4/16/2019 First time I get a Vaccine at Walgreens. There's an outbreak of Hep A on the East Coast. Since, my parents happen to be in the hospital at present time. Yes, both:-( I'm traveling south and north I-95. Restaurant food can't be avoided. Google info on Hep A. As of now there's been at least 4 Fatalities. It can take 3-4 weeks to get symptoms of illness Hep A sometimes. Mistaken for a stomach Flu/ illness. ""Hep A is Contagious" ""Absolutely, Hand Washing Is Very Important"" If eating in a Restaurant. Kitchen Staff should wear gloves. ***Pls, STAY AWAY FROM SALAD BARS*** Raw Veggies Unless consumed at home. Are NOT your best friend. Again, knowledge is power. Google Info on Hep A if not feeling well. Consult a Medical Professional. - - Arrived at Walgreens aprox 10am Lilly. Took our Insurance info. No waiting. She is polite, professional a pleasure. I filled out the easy form Allergies, etc. Sat for aprox 5 minutes for the Med/Nurses Station. Michael called me. He was friendly, professional. Confirmed medical info. I'm ok W/needles. Michael, said small pinch. Did not feel anything. Just some pressure from the fluid. Glad I had this Vaccine. Early, before it becomes a problem with Availability. **Special Thanks to Octavia. For her assistance on the phone:-) Good Staff At this Location.

Didn't have my Mom's prescription ready even though we called it in and they saw everything was in there right. Had to wait. Then tried using the joke rewards program. Had $23 in points, but I can't use it on most anything I want/use and only $5 at a time. I decided on protein bars for my Mom 5/$5. Wrong member name came up, so cashier had to have Manager void. She rang it up again, but of course 5 for 5 didn't work. Again manager called to explain to the cashier how she should have fixed it. Then cashier rang 6 instead of 5, so I had to tell her how to fix it. No apology. Awful service and rewards program.

This establishment is better in filling your prescription but they are still unorganized and will try to fill your script under the wrong insurance or try to fill your prescription refill to soon so of course the insurance is going to deny it.
