I had a very disappointing experience with Vero Beach Import Auto. I went there for a quote and to order a new key fob for my car. I was informed that the key fob would cost $350, plus additional charges for programming. They said they would order the key the next day and notify me. However, I changed my mind and left a voicemail the following morning to cancel the order.
Despite this, a few weeks later, I noticed TWO charges totaling $930.50 on my debit card. I contacted the business multiple times, but each time, I was told the owner would call me back—and he never did. After several calls and providing proof of the charges, they refunded one of the charges but still owe me $465.25.
I’ve had no service, no key, no return call from the owner, and have been left out of pocket. I will now need to file with small claims court to resolve the issue. This experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I feel like I’ve been taken advantage of. Proceed with caution!

AVOID THIS SHOP AT ALL COSTS. Seriously go with the rest of the reviews there’s a reason they are so bad.
Just got my car back after getting my soft top hydraulics done. The amount of stuff that is destroyed in my car is beyond belief, broken plastic all over the car. It’s a long story but I’m pretty sure the mechanic damaged some stuff on purpose after we argued about a part. (I was correct).
Seriously, avoid this place. Good luck trying to get a written estimate out anyone at the shop( which is illegal in Florida).
Mediocre work and they will try to drive up the price any chance they get.
AVOID.

WARNING!!! In my opinion I would never recommend this company. Very nice at first but once you don’t want the work done their demeanor changes immediately. Gave me a price on installing a transmission with labor only. Allowed me to source my own transmission. I found one with a 12/12k warranty. I showed him what they required to insure the warranty would be valid as part of the install. One of the items required item was to flush the transmission. His price of 1,200 went to 1,800. 400.00 to flush a transmission. Hmm I would think you would want to flush old transmission fluid. Nonetheless, I didn’t feel comfortable with him doing the job. He recommended welding the small crack. He quoted 2600. I said let me think about it. I called around to find out if this was a good idea, it’s alluvium. Not one person said it was a good idea and it was only 700 cheaper than a new transmission. After my research I went there and told him I wasn’t having any work done and I would remove the vehicle. He got nasty and told me to get it out by tomorrow. I went back with a trailer to remove it. Interesting the car wouldn’t now go into any gear. Hence, it was driven there 7 miles away when it was first dropped off. I was told by their employees (who are very nice) that the car where it was parked now was backed in to the spot by driving it. Now all of a sudden I can’t even get the car into any gear yet alone neutral. I asked him to get it into gear. It feel on deaf ears. I called several times and got the run around. After about 2 months of being ignored I emailed him. He called me back screaming at me because I wanted my car the way it was brought to him. Drivable. That week I went to get the car. The Range Rover key I gave them was water damaged and wouldn’t open my car. Pictures of damaged key in review. They had to break in to my car. Picture attached. I then had to go to the RR dealer to have my key fixed. The next day I called the cops to assist me with removing my car and to verify the car would not go into any gear unless it was manually put into neutral under the hood by removing engine bay parts. My car is worse off now after bringing it to Gerald. I believe there is now more damage to the car. How do you return someone’s car that was drivable to having to be towed and not being drivable. Do yourself a favor and go else where.

These guys are the best! They give me a ride home after dropping my car off and pick me up when it’s ready! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had minor issues that they fixed and charged me nothing. Just really nice, honest, and hardworking. Thank you Jerry, Bob and Karen!!! ?

I bought a VW beetle for my daughter’s graduation. There was a hiccup with the title and Gerry and Karen made sure it got corrected right away and my daughter had her car in time for graduation! Car looks and runs great! I would definitely buy another car from them!

Alert! Alert! My 2010 Mercedes S5 50 was stolen from Verobeach imports. The owner left my keys in my car and some criminal took my car on a joyride and totaled it. The owner implied that we knew this person and had them steal it. The owner was very nasty, unsympathetic and delusional. What a terrible experience this was for us. Don’t trust the owner and don’t trust your car at this place you will regret it.

Great staff very helpful, prices are fair.2 years after my original review having had my car serviced there very recently I must say that the whole crew including the owner Jerry have changed in the way they deal with customers. I had my A/C compressor and the serpentine belt replaced. I had to bring back the 2 times because they had damaged the condenser and I was leaking freon. Jerry almost kick me out of the shop because I pointed that out to him. Extremely rude and unfair not to mentioned that they charged me $685 for labor to replace the compressor when BMW's rate for changing the compressor is no more than 3 hours including the freon for $400 without the part. Place has become very expensive for poor quality repairs
