Art and his team did a complete redo of my apartment in Vero Beach. They did an outstanding job - high quality craftsmanship, and it was all done on time. I've had a lot of renovations done in may different homes over the years, and Art is by far the best. I highly recommend Universal Wood Design. I note there are negative reviews, but all I can say is that this was not my experience. Art was very friendly and courteous and had very high standards.

Terrible to work with very unprofessional. They are certainly not custom cabinet makers. None of our appliances fit even though they had the specs and measured several times. The price was outrageous for the quality of the cabinets.. The paint started chipping after 3 months and our calls and texts were never returned. Beware!!

My wife & I remodeled our entire home in Vero Beach. We gutted the kitchen & bathrooms and hired Universal Wood Design to make our new kitchen cabinets, countertops & (1) bathroom vanity. I would NOT recommend UWD. My wife & I sent the owner a picture, showed him the picture of what we wanted for the Master bath and he made something not even close. When I told him that is not what we wanted he screamed at me and became belligerent and told me that is what we were getting. He was arrogant throughout the entire process and very short and vague. The quality is also lacking. The paint around the edges of the cabinet panels are already cracking and the drawers rub on side cabinet walls. Please go spend your hard earned $$ with a company that does not belittle their customers and is not combative with their customers. Furthermore for the money we spent, the quality is average. Plenty of other options in town!
