Went in on a referral, had a squeak under the hood was supposed to diagnose m problem, they put in a fan belt, $205, squeaked when I picked it up, by the time I got home the same squeak was actually worse, called in twice, ask for the owner to call back , he never did, had plenty of work after that to give him, 2 cars here, obviously the owner doesn't care about customers, I guess they can't do diagnostics very well,
I don't recommend using this establishment, I explained to him before I left my Mercedes with him I've been ripped off many times and was looking for a honest mechanic,

Horrible experience!!!! First off they tried to replace a part that wasn't bad on my vehicle either lack of experience or trying to be dishonest . Second they tried to talk me into replacing other stuff on the car I later found out wasn't bad and then just found out they were trying to charge me WAY more than what another shop would charge.Stay away if possible!!

This tire shop was a good place to go to when we first moved to Fort Pierce. Being that our car has special requirements when it comes to tires. Not a lot of places are willing to work on stretch tires. Last week we took our car to get a tire replaced in which we purchased brand new tires into the shop to have them replace. The gentleman who was working on my car not only tore a whole in my brand new tire but he lied and said it was a defect and he can’t use it. He made us believe the issue with the tire was a vendor issue. Once we got home we noticed that he tore a whole in it with his tools. When we called him back about this issue and asked for compensation he said NO! Despite the tear in the tire was caused by him. Rather he say he doesn’t deal with stretch tires he still took the chance and would always replace our tires. I would never recommend this place to a soul since they are not honest nor helpful with trying to resolve anything wrong they have done

Those guys helped me a lot when I first moved to Vero. My car was a wreck and they were upfront with me when they could have taken advantage of an unknowing customer. I returned later and they did great work on my truck. Thanks again

Top notch Group of people at this place!! I can’t say enough about their business!! I went in and told Austin what I wanted and he delivered!! Finished on time and I’m very grateful for the job they did on my truck and I got to say the best price in town on what I had done. They are very knowledgeable and I wouldn’t hesitate to bring my truck back to them. To Austin and Justin and whoever else worked on my truck thank you!!

DO NOT USE THIS SHOP! My VW Jetta would not start one Saturday. I called several shops in the area (I'm new to this area) to see who worked on VW's. Most said no, but MD Auto said they work on them "all the time". I had the car towed into their shop. They confirmed it sounded like a faulty alternator and quoted me cost plus labor charges of $110 per hour. My family needed that car so I said diagnose the problem and let me know the costs of repair. After a week of not hearing from them (that became their normal) for a week, I called to check status. I was informed it's an alternator that would cost $220 plus labor. I asked if I could buy the alternator myself and they said they would not guarantee it worked and would have to charge me 2 hours of labor to remove if it doesn't work. I should have known from that statement, it was not going to work. I bought a brand new alternator, took it to them and a week later called to see if it worked. Guess what, it's was "faulty". Surprise! Surprise! Not only was I charged $120 per hour to remove and install and new alternator from their company (turned out to come from CarQuest), but they charged me more than originally quoted, charged me for uninstall & new install and the new alternator didn't work and charged me for a new oil dip stick! There was nothing wrong with my dip stick. After replacing 3 alternators, they said it was running. I paid $900+ to get back to a normal life with 3 working adults and a school student using 1 car was not working for us. The car made it home with issues. Once turned off, it wouldn't start again. I called the shop and they said "bring it back". I had just paid over $900 and didn't want to start from scratch with another shop. So, I reluctantly had it towed back to their shop. The tried a new battery, more alternators, said they replaced all wire connections to/from battery to alternator, but I don't see any indication of that being done. After several more weeks, they asked to send the master computer to a shop in Miami to have it reprogramed. That took another 2 weeks only to be told they couldn't tell if it was defective or not but recommended buying a new master computer at $495 to have it programed to our car. I declined that and demanded they make the car ready for pick-up. They were going to charge me for all the work they had done to the car, storage for 7 weeks and refused to release the car unless their bill was paid. I threatened to have the police accompany me to pick up my car as the tow truck was on the way. They FINALLY contacted the owner (I repeated asked for the owner, Mike, but never did speak to him) and he said let it go, no charge. I had the car towed to European Performance Repair (EPR) where a new alternator was installed, my car was back to me within 24 hours and I haven't had any issues since. EPR did inform me MD Auto installed a cheap alternator from CarQuest that was not compatible with my car and they installed a battery wayyyy too small for my car. They also lost the battery plate and never did bother to find it though I asked for it's return. This place is Horrible. I don't believe any are certified mechanics, they don't return calls, they charge for things they don't perform or replace at ballooned pricing. They are not honest and not customer friendly. They definitely take advantage of women. My advise: GO ANYWHERE BUT MD AUTO. I believe it's more of a junk yard than a repair shop based on the cars that are always there. I'm attempting to get a refund on the 3 tow fees, $900 in repair that were never made, but was just informed, Mike the owner is out of town! Surprise! Surprise!

Had our truck for 3 weeks when we finally decided to pull it. Needed a motor replaced and promised a week and never even touched it after receiving the new motor. After a week of absolutely no attempt to keep in touch and updated we called and was giving nothing but excuses. Wouldn't recommend for anything ever.

After calling all over Vero, they quoted the best price for brake pads and rotors, did a spectacular job, and were incredibly kind and respectful. I will go nowhere else from this point on!
