Prices are ok but the quality and quantity of merchadise is declining. The smell of mold and/or mildew especially in the back is overwhelming at best. Cashier was very nice. Woman putting away things not so much. I asked if I could look through the rack she was working on and she just gave me a shrug.

They literally get their merchandise for free so their profits are high. The place is filled with all the junk they didn’t list online. While walking thru the shop they had a prerecorded advertisement telling you to check out their online auctions. Goodwill is technically a non-profit but do some research about how much CEOs get paid. Don’t donate to them. There are non-profits that support local communities and special interest groups that could put the money they raise from your donations to better use. And why is the Goodwill located next to the Salvation Army?

Vero Beach has a couple of Goodwill Thrift Store locations. This one is a little nicer and more organized than the other location on Hwy US1. Did you know they offer a membership that grants you access to special discounts? For people who may be in the reselling business, I can see where this would be a benefit. For the occasional shopper, not so much. I saw that one day they had an offer for members to get 10 articles of clothing for $25. They have made some recent changes inside the store. The one thing I do not like about the clothing displays in this store is that not only are they not organized by size, but ALL clothing is $5.99 each. Seems high for used apparel and additionally, a top or shirt in good condition is $5.99 while right next to it hangs a ratty t-shirt for the same price. Seems like t-shirts should be their own little selection for maybe $2 each. Other thrift stores do not price their clothing as high and even offer discounts on what may be considered "boutique" or "named brand labels." I frankly, haven't the patience to dig through racks of clothing that is in no order whatsoever. I can get new clothes for these prices on sale at the retail stores. Purses are also priced on the high side especially for the poor condition they are in. The tags range from $4.99 to $9.99 to $14.99 to $19.99. You can get new purses in the retail stores on sale for these prices. Why would I pay anything close to this for worn out purses? Some shouldn't even be on display; they are so dirty, worn, and grubby. On the positive side, they seem to have a decent assortment of kitchen, household, and decor items in the back of the store that is fairly organized on the shelves, however again, some things are over-priced for the condition they are in. There is limited furniture and sports equipment. Also, not in the store now are books, record albums, DVD's, and CD's. Most thrift stores have an abundant amount of these items. Perhaps these items were not big sellers and taking up space for other better-selling stock. They do have a lot of mugs and those are typically priced for $1. You can still find a few goodies, but this is not my first choice of thrift stores due to the disorganization of the clothing, the limited stock in the store, and over-pricing on many items that are in just "fair" condition.

After driving a long distance to get there, Wed. Nov. 23, they were CLOSING UP at 4:00 p.m.! Comment added; the Salvation Army store that had just moved next door, stayed OPEN until their normal closing time.

Clean store, quality used clothing, housewares, and general merchandise. Fair pricing. Great layout and organized much nicer than most thrift shops.

Came in on Saturday for jeans and spent almost a hundred on jeans and shorts. I'm a mom so I never spend money on myself, I asked the employee if I can do a return if they didn't fit, he said YES AS LONG AS ITS WITHIN 24 hours. I went home and tried them on. Some stuff didn't fit so I went back the next day(within24 hours) and some blonde skinny woman (I guess it was the manager) told me I was told wrong. Well then it's your job to fix it lady. So screw this place. I left the crappy clothes on the counter and left. Glad I wasted my money. This isn't how you run a business. The whole place smells like an old person and your employees don't know what the heck they are doing. Thanks a bunch.
