Tonite I have probably encountered the worst service ever. 2 workers allowed the line to pile up, to the extent of customers leaving because the wait was too long. The cashier was busy helping a customer blow up balloons, which is understandable, but when I asked the other worker who was stocking shelves if she would please ring us up because we were waiting, she refused. When the cashier finally returned, she had attitude with me…I explained I understand she was helping another customer which is is why I asked the shelf stocker if she would help out. She retorted, no she needed to keep doing her work so that they could be out on time because they didn’t not want to stay late and if everyone (customers) need to leave then they can leave because she had kids at home. The other customers, btw had small children which is why I asked for help checking out. Plus, closing time is 9:00pm & this occurred at 7pm…so, I don’t understand what her concern was about leaving late when she still has 2 hours to her shift. Both employees have very bad attitude, extremely rude, extreme poor customer service and are in desperate need of training. Would love to tell you which employee, but she also didn’t have a name tag. The other employee never came to the front so I couldn’t even get a close look at her tag if she had one. BTW, this is not the first rude employee I have encountered at this location. Thankfully I have options as there are many other dollar tree stores in our town…no need to shop this one anymore.

A 5 Star Store, lucky to get a 3 Star Rating! EMPTY SHELVES with Boxes of INVENTORY sitting on roller racks going no where & waiting on the Floor for customers to fill the shelves for them! How can you Sell product NOT seen on shelves & still boxed up. How do you make a profit, with unhappy customers doing your work for you? And this is a PROBLEM at all 5 stores within a 5 mile radius!!! WHERE IS THE REGIONAL GUY who is supposed to MANAGE THIS AREA of "expertise"? What an Inventory MESS?!!! and LESS bang gor your buck!!! ? ok: $1.25? EMBARRASSING TO WALK INTO THE 12th Street Location ???

Even though Dollar Tree is now a $1.25 Tree, it is still my favorite Dollar store. However I do have some recent complaints: most importantly is the fact that they do not have enough cashiers open at any one time. There's usually one cashier open and at least 10 people in line and it makes for a bad experience. And you all realize that we don't go in for one item, many times people have 20 or more items in their basket to check out, so the line can be lengthy and frustrating. I have also noticed that there are some brands that I could depend on to purchase at Dollar Tree and they are no longer available. This is true of any of the Dollar Tree stores that I go to, regardless of their location. Often the aisles are crowded with boxes of product that need to be put on the shelves. It is sometimes difficult to maneuver down an aisle with all the boxes blocking your way. I would think that the shelving of products would be done when the store is closed to the public. So even with all the complaints listed above, Dollar Tree is still my favorite Dollar store but might not be for long, if they cannot address some of these issues.

The store was great it was stocked had plenty of fall and Halloween items however when it was time to check out the line was about seven people deep with one cashier that looked like he should have been retired (moving very slow) the lady ahead of me asked nicely was there somebody else to call to the front for cash out he replied no about 5 minutes later the rude lady behind me yelled at him and said you need to call somebody to come up here he stopped got on the phone and called another associate. I was in line longer than I was shopping.

This Dollar Tree has some issues! Some of the old ladies who work here are bad! They can be very mean and nasty to customers. Not nice at all. They do not keep the shelves stocked well, so they do not have all out, so likely will not have out what you want or need. They love keeping you waiting. The manager was nice though. The problem here are some of the older ladies that work here in the mornings, they can be very mean. We have found that the Dollar Tree down the road on US1 by 12St is much better, they have all out and stocked better, Queen Anne is nice there and they have their products on the shelves. The management seems better there than this one. Since Dollar Tree raised everything to $1.25 25% increase in prices, we go mostly to the Dollar General across the street from here now, they still sell a lot for $1 there so you can save a lot more money at Dollar General. Too, the employees at Dollar General are much nicer than at this Dollar Tree.
