Dollar General is a great store in general but is recently underperforming. The store is very cluttered and has very few employees, leading to long lines every afternoon. The self-checkout is not working. Attempts to call the store often go unanswered. However, the employees are extremely nice and new, and the manager cares about customers and employees. The store carries a lot of different items. There is a request for corporate to add employees, fix the checkout, and provide better leadership.
This store is a great store in general. It recently is underperforming. I beg our neighbors, please influence Dollar general corporate, to get the self-checkout working, and add employees to this store. We all cannot bear the long lines, that are typically every afternoon.

I’ve been calling there all day long a not one person has answered. I think something happened and for some reason my credit card wasn’t charged I was trying to do the right thing and reach out but I don’t live local anymore so if somebody can please respond to this

The store was very cluttered with the order that must have been recently delivered. But, in their defense, they had VERY few employees and the ones I met were extremely nice and new. They do carry a lot of different items, including my favorite beer and French fries!!
