“UPDATE: since the original review below, Mike kept his promise to make it right A loaner vehicle was brought to me ( a nice upgrade, too! Brand new Durango!) , they worked on my vehicle 2018 Dodge Durango, and Mike kept in communication with me throughout the day. By 3 pm, my vehicle was repaired , Mike called to explain the repair in detail and set up the delivery and exchange of the loaner at my location. The service manager arrived timely with my vehicle and explained the repair as well. I am pleased with their customer service this time around and hope for no other issues. Hoping to have trust in Vatland if I need them in the future. I appreciate Mike and the team for coming through as promised. Upgraded to a 5 star review. Thank you Mike and Vatland team. (Terry promised some gas to refill the tank, too! HAHA)
PREVIOUS 2 STAR RATING: . Unsatisfactory service to correct a problem that was paid for two weeks ago and not properly fixed. The original service was to be a 3 to 4 hour repair and took 2 days. Returned to the dealer service today after check engine light on and same error codes appeared on diagnostic tool. Sat at dealer from 8 am to 9:20 before they came to tell me that they couldn’t run an accurate diagnostic test with a full tank of gas. I was told to drive the car around for an hour or so and come back because it needed 10% less fuel. At 10:40 I returned to the service dept after almost 40 miles and also letting it run continuously to burn off the fuel. Sat waiting and had to find the service manager to give me an update. Stated he’d check but couldn’t find the shop foreman. He came back to say the fuel is at 96% and needs to be to 90%. They would run the fuel down and check it after 90%. At 1:15 has do again go find someone to give me an update. Said it was at 91%.
At almost 2:00 pm I had to again go find someone to give an update. The desk by the service bays had a worker there who got the shop foreman.
Shop foreman says he’s ran some tests and they’re all inconclusive. The fuel needs to be at 1/3 tank.
I asked why he could not have said that over 5 hours ago instead of making me wait. Also informed him I reviewed the codes and tests required and the motor could not be hot. He says there’s an overhead fan in the shop. Okay… you’ve been running the vehicle since 10:40 this morning and expect that motor to be cooled down by using an overhead fan? No circulation in the bays at all.
He continues with the 1/3 fuel tank fill required.
There is ZERO communication. My vehicle is still not repaired and no one provided a resolution.
Not to mention 3 ladies in the waiting area that had been there since 9 and 10 respectively who also had to go out more than once to ask how their vehicles were coming along. 9 am finally left around 1:30 and the 10 am was there when I left at 2:40.
I would take the vehicle elsewhere except they need to make this right! They were paid for the repairs the first time and need to honor their work.
Very disappointed and dissatisfied customer. Will not recommend the service. Dealership manager has been there 3 days and tried to help after arriving around 2 pm and finally spoke to me. He abruptly had to leave to take of new hire documents and could not resolve anything other than giving me his phone number. No resolution at all.”
“The battery in my golf cart died & I went to the Oslo Advance Auto to purchase a new one. The clerk looked up the type of battery that would fit my cart & I was ready to purchase a $200. one. Then the clerk saw the sticker on my old battery & looked up the date & details of my old battery. It turned out that my old battery was still under warranty. I got a new battery for free. Most sales clerks wouldn’t have taken the time to check all that information. The clerks at this store are always very helpful. Thanks”
“I have a 2004 Saab 9-3 Aero 2.0 Turbo convertible, Gary Viggen is the only mechanic who has ever worked on this car and he has always done an over-and-above excellent job. Be it small like an oil change or replacing the computer or the entire AC in the car his prices are fair but one must expect to pay a little more for the quality of work Gary does, as well as his unparalleled knowledge of all things Saab! I would not trust my Saab to anyone else. If you have a Saab and live in the Vero Beach area, go nowhere other than Viggen Automotive. He does other imports too, but he is a master of Saab mechanics! Also, Gary's wife, Heather, always makes me feel welcome when I come to the shop and is always willing to go the extra mile to make me comfortable. As Hawkeye Pierce would say they are the "FINEST KIND!”

“Service Department, I scheduled an appointment for 12/11 instead of 12/10. I showed up on 12/10. Jarrod Jenkins took great care of me and said he would get me in today. I declined the multi point inspection. I am not sure the name of the tech that serviced my car. However, the tech pointed out some problems that were missed by other shops. The tech even explained why the car alignment was off, and what needed to be done to fix it. That was more than the tire shop and other Honda dealership did. There was not a high pressure sales pitch to get the repairs made today. I will definitely be back to visit the service department.”
