I went to mail a tiny (the size of a small reg envelope) bubble mailer with literally ribbon and some tags inside (card stock tags) that weighted absolutely nothing and the new employee told me it was non machinable which I understand so that it had to be sent like a package and I said ok, I thought it would be under $2 or maybe a little over but I got charged $5.15 for something that I could have mailed in a regular envelope with just a stamp and a non machinable stamp for less than $1. Either new employee doesn’t know what she is doing or things have gotten ridiculously expensive. This is the second time with this employee and my first time was almost as bad as she wanted to charge me for a regular mailing instead of media/book mail which is what I was mailing and I even showed her the book before I taped the envelope. Not happy at all with service.

Excellent service. I was was waiting for the Post office to open to pick up my package and my package was hand delivered to me while sitting outside. How sweet and I am always greeted with warm and friendly smile. Such a family like feeling at Vernon Post Office.

I went to drop off a package recently and was not happy with my experience. I printed a label and paid online. I added extra measurements to the LxWxH and added extra weight to insure i paid enough postage. When I got there the postal worker told me I didnt have enough weight. When I asked how much more it weighed all she told me was "quite a bit more." She would never give me an exact weight. I prepaid for 7lbs. I took the package to the PCB post office and in fact my package weighed 3lbs 7.80 oz. This is not the first time this has happened at the Vernon location. Lesson learned. I will be taking my packages to PCB from now on. Vernon has terrible customer service and lazy employees. Wish I could give 0 stars.
