It's a pretty cool place. It's a research station not a park or anything but it does have some cool history and interpretive trails. Looks like a great place for kids camps etc

Went for a Saturday hiking event, Dustin, Makayla, and April, which were very knowledgeable and informative for the tour group. The weather was fair during the tour. Thanks again, guys, for making Earth Day a treat from nature.

From Archbold Biological Station
Archbold Biological Station is a non-profit environmental research and conservation organization working regionally in the headwaters of the Florida Everglades. Conference rooms and lodging available for mission related meetings and college classes. Short self-guided trails of nature preserve and campus available for walk-up visitors at no charge. $5 per person donations are appreciated to support the organization. Private group tours of the Florida scrub habitat available for a fee and must be booked in advance.
