I am a returning customer for a year! By far the best boutique I’ve been to! The selections (love the brand wearables) and staff (thank you Karen and Debby RN retired) were so incredibly helpful this last visit . Love this place

"I'm sorry you feel that way" is not an apology. Your Sunday employees today made me and my friend very uncomfortable. We both discussed it a few stores away and realized we both had the same experience of being followed around and watched every move we made. I will never return. I buy all my family and friends birthday and Christmas gifts down town to support local business. I will never return here.

Absolutely loved shopping here! Staff was fun, friendly and helpful. I'm tall and slim and sometimes have a hard time finding things the correct length but the staff here were extremely knowledgeable and pulled more than I would have expected to find in a boutique for me. I can't wait to stop by again!!

Beautiful boutique in downtown Venice. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff with gorgeous lines like Johnny Was, XCVI, Tolani, River and Sky and Hobo. New Owner!! A must see if visiting the Venice area!

This was during the cold snap over the Christmas holidays that Florida experienced. I brought my mom in to show her a cute dress I bought and to try and convince her to get one. Obviously my multiple layers for a walk in the cold was not the appropriate attire for shopping there. as I was looking through the rack for a size the associate reached in front of me to straighten the first item on the rack. There were a couple of cute pieces that I wanted. I ended up purchasing them elsewhere.

Would give 5 stars for Marcia and Pat who have helped to fill my closet with sea side chic choices over the years. I have been a LOYAL customer for many years including when this store was across Venice Ave and i have recommended this store to literally DOZENS of people. I am a local and I support small businesses but NEVER again will I spend a dime at Sea Side Chic specifically because of the owner Janice. She gave me such grief about spending the balance on a gift card from my husband - yep, even he knew it was my favorite store on the island. (But no longer!). I spent a portion of my birthday gift card and the store gave me a receipt showing my balance. They did NOT give me another gift card, just the receipt showing my balance. And I kept it safely in my wallet for several weeks until the next opportunity to shop. Well..... when I went back, found a few more cute items and tried to check out, the shop help INSISTED I needed to have a gift card. I went around and around explaining - no gift card was given to me after my first purchase...just the receipt. Well THEN they call Janice the "owner" who tells me on the phone that they can't accept tje receipt as proof. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? You guys gave me the receipt, told me it was all I needed and kept my gift card!! JANICE was NOT kind or helpful or nice. I left the store before I lost my cool in front of their other customers- because guess what? Unlike JANICE I am kind and helpful and nice. I ultimately get a phone call (and my husband did too) to say they figured it out and I can come back in and spend my balance. No apologies. Nothing close to it from Janice. And Janice is still saying that I LOST my gift card. What a moron! I will never step a foot inside this store again. And I will spread the word.

I've always enjoyed shopping in this beautiful boutique my husband recently went in to shop for me for Christmas knowing that I like the store He spent several hundred dollars worth of clothing and confirmed that if something didn't fit that I could bring it back and exchange it for the correct size which they assured him I could. So when I went in to make the exchange I was rudely told I could not it was beyond the seven days after the purchase. So it is because of their rude customer service that I will not step foot in there again. There are plenty of other beautiful boutiques downtown Venice to choose from ~
