This place is terrible, we bought a refrigerator, but they can't lift it 3 feet over a counter, they refuse, and it took 3 days to get them here to do it, and I paid extra for them to do it and take it away... So now I have to find someone to help get it in my kitchen... Their explanation was stupid and non-valid... the other fridge we got the guys had no issues putting it in... The prices are not good, and the place is much smaller than HOME DEPOT, I wont go to Lowes ever again after this debacle... Wasted 2 days and have my perishables in coolers until we can figure it out... Sad that they don't take the time to care about the people who purchase large priced items... Guess they don't need your business, so next time... Go to Home Depot.. Or Brandsmart even though they are just as bad,.

i have used lowes for many many years. they did come out with military discount, which i loved. biggest problem was some military gave their phone number to friends and family so they could get the discount. "really" thank you lowes for asking for id and i proudly will show you.

I am not sure who enjoys Lowes more, my dog Auggie or myself! I like the friendly service you always receive at the Venice store. It is not as common anymore so I appreciate a smile and the small talk if they have a minute. My dog loves the other dogs and all the attention from people and of course his buddies, the great Lowes staff!

Daphne at checkout refused to give me military discount without rendering my ID for her even though the phone number I gave her was already submitted to Lowe's.com and proven to be military. What is this world coming too; I kept telling her okay and she just kept arguing at me and looking at the ceiling. It was very unprofessional considering I spent 2,000$ in the store today.

We have spent $13,000 on new windows ordered from Lowe's which were installed at a condo in Venice. It is taking four months to finalize the inspection. I would highly recommend not using this store for large orders such as windows ever again. It is mass confusion from one employee to another as far as customer service.

Maybe folks around here (FL) are used to a different experience or have very high expectations but I think this place is da bomb. There are so many helpful people working here (so many people work here!) that I don't see any reason to complain. Maybe the services they offer are a bummer but I haven't used them for anything other than getting supplies. I'm used to New York where the situation is different-no one is ever around to help and their employees are terrible when you do find one. I go here all the time and love it.

Seeing the store only stocks high end advantech you have to order 3/4 osb tongue and groove and pay a $79 delivery fee !! So I decided to try it and also get my Sheetrock on a job I'm just starting. First thing is when I placed order it was saying Friday May 12th but after placing order and submitting it switched to Monday the 15 th . No notice from them until late Sunday nite . As you can see by the order all 6 sheets of OSB were damaged making installation difficult plus no receipt was given so no way to fill out their survey!! After spending close to $1000 dollars in the last 2 weeks I will no longer shop there (spend $400 yesterday at Home Depot ) . I do several remodels a year and just bought in this area so good by Lowe's !!

I will never use Lowe's again. I went in to get an estimate for a new door back in March. The contractor called and gave a date to come to my home for the estimate. He never showed up. He claimed he went to the house next door. But I questioned why didn't he call me to explain why he couldn't find the house. So moving on, he finally came out. He measured the door and said Lowe's will contact me about the price. Lowe's called me and I paid for it. Then come to find out. They double charged me the the purchase. It became an ongoing battle trying to get my money refunded. I finally got the double charge refunded with my bank. So then, I finally got a call from the contractor back in April. He scheduled a date April 12th between 1-3pm to come out and install the door. I took the day off from work. Do you know This man was a NO CALL NO SHOW. I never heard back from him. I called the number he called me from, and I never got a response. I called Lowe's to inform them of the situation. They told me they wasn't sure why he never showed up and they will find out and call me. I never got a call from Lowe's. Fast Forward. Today is now 5/12/2023. I STILL DO NOT HAVE A DOOR INSTALLED. I called the store again and spoke to a manager, he advised me to call their installation department. No one ever gave me that number before. So now, I am playing the waiting game to receive a call to know when they can come out to install my door. This has got to be the most unprofessional company I've ever dealt with. I cannot believe they would do that to a Paying Customer! I am Not happy about this. I did file a complaint to their customer service. If anything, they should be installing this door for Free. I shouldn't have to go through all of this trouble!!!!!!!!!!

Do NOT use Lowes Venice for a kitchen remodel and install. Ordered kitchen July 2022 and still no functioning kitchen as of Feb 2023. No help from management just excuse after excuse. Kitchen designer Kelly likes to call the install company "bozos", the people at Kraftmade cabinets have "no idea what they are talking about" and now he says our expectations are just too high compared to Lowes! Do NOT waste your money or time at Lowes Venice Florida.

WOW! the last few times we have been to Lowe's in Venice Florida, it has been really frustrating. NO check outs open except the self check out. Then, they stop you to check your ID. I have never had to show my ID there. But now, they will slow down the line to see you fumble for your ID. And the girl wasn't even pleasant.Lowe's, you have gotten real poor in your customer service.

Old customer service I've ever received! Was totally ignored and the representative at the customer service desk couldn't even tell me the phone number. When I asked for a manager she said oh I already called one for the other guy you're fine. I've spent a considerable amount of money refurnishing and refurbishing my apartment at Lowe's. Extremely disappointed angry.

In these hard times Lowe's Home Improvement has denied the use of Military Discounts! Lowe's Stock continues to rise daily due to the home improvement boom. UNBELIEVABLE!!

Stay away from Venice Lowes,,,BUYER BEWARE... I went to return a unopened and unused brand new electric pressure washer, the clerk at the customer service counter looked annoyed and when she scanned the item she said it could not be returned because it was purchased 32 days ago and you can only return up to 30 days, she said she could not help me, I asked to speak with the store manager and they finally could track down a Asst Mgr TINA, who also said I Could not return it, I told them 30 day return policy is not on the receipt and I was not advised this at checkout, she again said there is nothing she could do, so I asked to speak with the store manager, her reply was--HE'S OFF TODAY...REALLY VERY VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE..................
