I went in to do some banking business for the first time with this bank. After reading the reviews I almost went to a different location. So glad I gave them a try. Ryan made my day with his attention to detail, courteous, getting all my questions answered and going out of his way to get everything set up for me that I came in to accomplish. Goes to show you can never go by reviews only.

Worst of the worst Banks they will pay Comcast bill that has no money in it but when you have money in the account they will deny you to pay a credit card then they blame people should find another bank where they are much happier.

For the past 6 months, it's been out of order numerous times.Other times, like today it took 4 trys to make a deposit of 3 checks, ended up having to do each one individually.

I unfortunately had to deal with the branch manager Reva this morning. Unbelievably poor customer service. I asked 3 separate times if I could work with someone else. She would not have that and continued to treat me terrible.

I walked in to Fifth-Third Bank to notify the bank that I was leaving the country for an international vacation. Right away, the staff was rude, unfriendly and unprofessional. The response from the teller was a little intense as she said in a condescending manner“ no, no, no, corporate tells us that you do not need to notify the bank, is there anything else?”. I have traveled internationally many times and this is never the case, for if my card automatically were to register a transaction in South America, I would hope 5/3 would catch that as “usual activity” as I live in Florida, and without prior consent, should block that transaction.Anyway, I then asked the teller “while I am here, I would like to activate a 5/3rd credit card, since my old one expired”. I had the card with me, and the bank did not have to order a new one or anything. The teller then rudely responded ”we can’t do that, you have to go online an use the app. Of corse I can use the app, but her statement is not true, bank staff can activate credit cards at the bank location site. I then told the teller that I drove to the bank for a reason and I would like you to activate the card please. The teller then called the number, told me she didn’t have time to hold it to her ear, handed me the phone across the upfront teller desk to wait on hold, and than proceeded to talk to the other teller while I stood there completely confused. The above teller then proceeded to comment to the other teller mentioning how annoying it was that I requested an activation. This was said in front of other customers as well. After someone from corporate approved my card on the phone some 3 minutes later, I set the phone on the counter and told the teller. She just continued to ignore me and the phone remained there, beeping ( I could not hang it up for it was over the counter” as I walked out I could here the same teller mentioning “ how perfect, now I don’t have to answer the phone”. 5/3, what kind of customer service is this? Clearly corporate is not concerned about events like this at the following location, due to the location having a 2.4 star review on here at the time of me typing this. Due to the above, I will be leaving 5/3 bank as a customer, and I have been one for over 10 years.

I visited the fifth third bank on Venice Avenue and spoke to Patience. She said she couldn’t help me set up a VA fiduciary account for my mom. So I went to the Fifth Third Bank on Jacaranda and spoke to Ashley. She fixed me right up with an account so that I could handle my moms VA pension. I will never use the Venice branch ever again. Only the branch and Jacaranda

So I was logged out of my account and called up to my local branch for assistance. Talked to a gentleman named Matt who was professional and punctual with helping me reset my password. Told me he was going to follow up to make sure I was able to access my account and sure enough 3 minutes later there he was! Thanks Matt for your service, I would of gave ya 2 more stars if google wasnt on a 5 star max!:)

Pretty sad when i have to give a bank one star when in the past i literally have never had a problem with this bank until today. They have always helped out with faxing important papers for us since we have been with them so long. And now today im told they only do their papers if its a bank paper. So $20 later i have to go to UPS across the street to spend my moms money who is in a nursing home just to fax my Power of Attorney to two important places. So to the one who told me no.. Thank you so much for nothing...thank God i literally do not have to step into the bank unless need be. I can do all though my app or ATM. The girl..who has brown hair and glasses....said she was going to have a talk with me Next time im in. Though little does she know..they are not the only 5(3 bank in Sarasora County. They just happen to be the closest to were i live. Funny thing is they had no problem in the past faxing the Power of Attorney to their Corporate office to be looked over to have me added to my mother's saving accounts and a Power of Attorney is not a Bank document... So there is a double sided sword for you...

I recently recieved a pay card for my part-time job at Party City. My managers told me to go to any mastercard bank and (in-person) I can get the money out of my bank. Traveling to my hometown, I called my normal Fifth Third to ask them questions and make sure I was following the exact instructions.
