I have NEVER dealt with such an awful company in my life. I initially signed for a weekly service, to include sweeping the walls and floor, clean the filter, remove debris, and keep the chemicals balanced, test the water weekly. The last time someone was here, he complained that it took so long to run the net over the top of the water, saying it was because I had too many plants. I guess it didn't occur to him that no one had skimmed the pool in a month because his co-workers simply don't do their job. Then he started telling me It would be easy to do it myself in between visits, I guess then they wouldn't have to do anything. I was also told I would have the same tech every week. Not! I guess they 1. DON'T TRAIN THEM. 2 WORK THEM TOO HARD. 3. PAY THEM 1/2 OF WHAT THEY'RE WORTH. Other than a couple of people in the office IT SEEMS THAT EVERY SINGLE PERSON THAT WORKS AT THIS PLACE IS EITHER INCOMPETENT, LAZY, OR BOTH. The only one in this company that deserves 5 stars is the salesman. He will promise you anything to get you to sign a contract. Now it's 2024 and I have been stuck with this company for a long time. NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES I CALL, THEY WILL NOT REMOVE THEIR EQUIPMENT. THIS REVIEW WAS FROM 2021. THIS IS THE REST OF THE STORY. The longer you have them the worse they get. I have a salt water system installed by them called time after time to have it removed, so that I could complete my pool remodel. Totally ignored. They charged me to clean my pool after the hurricane for weeks. Literally doing a drive by. I called, the secretary said "Oh no, we have pictures of your pool before and after". This is while my pool cage is collapsed inside the pool. I called back and told her and she essentially said I was lying. My pool has been completed and their junk is going in the trash. A 2nd party looked at the salt water system BEFORE the hurricane and said it couldn't be working because it was totally encrusted and needed to be soaked in a solution. They've changed owners I believe several times but it just gets worse. Go with someone with at least 4 stars and stay away these ONE STAR COMPANIES.

This company used to be good, when is locally owned and operated out of Venice. Now it is trash. I have had two houses with them, one for more than 20 years, and I just cancelled my last property with them for more than 5 years. They don't show and do the work, but they bill you. They install unauthorized equipment and they bill you. They don't return when they say they will. They leave their trash on site, rather than throw it away. If you want an overwhelmingly below average company, this is your pool cleaner!

Even though we pay basic pool care service the gentleman who services our pool only drops a few chlorine tablets and SOMETIMES brushes the pool, skims it and cleans the filter. Our pool is a wreck and we have had to shoulder the cost of getting it back on track. He doesn’t even test the water!

Run away. They will claim to have been on site. Security cameras prove that no one was at the pool. The pool is in worse shape after two months in their care than before they started. A very dishonest outfit. These photos two days after they claim to have serviced the pool.

BAD!!!!! Not sure how they can consider themselves a pool company. Terrible!! They take your money and pool is worse after they touch it. STAY AWAY from this company. Hired another pool company after who immediately had pool clean.

Absolutely horrible service. They do not clean the pool like they say they do. You pay for full service, you get a “splash and dash”. If you’re lucky. This is the brand new brush and rag I bought after one pass on the waterline in my pool. Do yourself a favor, avoid this company and spend your money elsewhere.

I've had the same terrible experience as some other reviewers on here.After realizing that I had not seen anyone from Economy Pools show up to clean our pool for many weeks, I called & left a detailed message to have someone call me back& let me know if anyone has been cleaning our pool. Nobody called me back for days, so I called again& got ahold of a human. She tells me "oops, I see what happened, you're tech was sick when he was supposed to clean your pool& it didn't get put back on the schedule " I asked when the last time they had been out and she said Feb.10th (a month!!!) So, not only did we get skipped for a week, but a month...OH, and of coarse they were still getting our auto payment! So I told her that I wanted to be refunded for the month they skipped& she said all they could do was credit our account. So, a man from the company came to "clean" our pool a few days after my call. He was there for 7 minutes (I looked on our cameras) , he did NOT EVEN BRUSH THE POOL OR CLEAN THE FILTER!!! All he did was dump some chemicals in and act like he skimmed a little. Pathetic, this company is a scam, I am super disappointed! Now, I'm wondering how many other times they skipped out on our pool (I don't live here all of the time& don't always watch our cameras). Shameful company ?

Very bad service and liar. I talked to the customer service Nicole about Steve pool cleaning person never cleaned our pool. When I canceled the service before they charge me, they said they will charge me anyway for the next month. Now I lost $85. Do not use their service. I am still working on to get my money back!

Economy Pools are amazing. On the 1st day working on my pool, they noticed that I was using a different pump for my pool. They ordered a new pump and installed it the same week.My pool is working great.I am very happy with their service.

I dropped my old pool service provider as it seemed like they were slacking and not doing their job. I switched over to Economy Pool and they are by far superior. Good communication and customer service. I would highly recommend them.

Terrible absolutely terrible, they showed up once all month and had my card set on auto pay. I told the pool guy to leave and they continued to charge me and nobody answers the phone to remove my card off file or refund me… took 130$ and vanished. If you are gonna use them say no to auto pay

Public Service Announcement: Ripping customers off is their specialty/business model. They billed us repeatedly for pool cleanings and chemicals which they never supplied. Our pool was overgrown with algae 3 months in a row. (We were back in our home state but came back down once a month to check on things). Their excuses were that they didn't have anyone who could service Englewood and that the technician they did have was skipping customers. I think that since many homeowners are away during the summer, they have gotten away with skipping houses but still billing for services not provided. We had to dispute the charges via our credit card company since they wouldn't refund us our money. Please don't use them.
