VERY rude blonde at drop off counter. Made rude comments about people who come in from out-of-state. Very inappropriate.

Easy access and easy parking. I will definitely come to this location again. I came in for some over the counter medicines and a UPS package. Upon entry I was greeted by a young woman who was able to answer all my questions and send me to the proper locations for my needs.. They have regular check out and self check out if you desire. Service with a smile!

As though things aren't tough enough dealing with this pharmacy. Now they won't take phone calls....you can't reach a live person. You have to go thru their overcomplicated often malfunctioning recorded phone responces. Giving them two stars is overly generous but when you walk in, service is D+ to C-.

Upon entering the store, and walking slowly along the aisle directly in front of the registers, I happened to notice the lone clerk who was working at that register, glaring and staring at my Mom and I. The woman in question, an older white woman, whose hair was cut short, seemed to be quite angry at us about something, although I have no idea what that might be, because my Mom and I had done absolutely nothing to her. After asking her about gummy bears, she gruffly answered my Mom and I, and then yelled at us, saying that we were not looking in the correct aisle. As my Mom and I are of Italian Ancestry and are somewhat dark complected, I sensed that race and ethnicity may have been a factor in our treatment.I would strongly advise anyone of a similar ethnic background to our own, to shop at a different CVS store in Venice.

When it’s easier to get illicit fentanyl than it is to get buprenorphine, we’re doing something very wrong."There is always work to be done to increase buprenorphine access, but a concerted effort at the pharmacy level will most certainly help save many lives. Even though the COVID-19 public health emergency has officially ended, the public health emergency of opioid overdose remains. Let’s remove whatever barriers are present at the pharmacy level to enable patients to access life-saving treatment."- Scott Weiner, Bicycle Health Director of Research

CVS, is a wonderful outlet to find your basic needs and more for a reasonable price and great discounts.

Pharmacy staff was friendly. Was in and out with no wait and no troubles with getting my scripts.

So yes, agreed that it seems like the folks in the pharmacy are overworked, but in my experience (I've used this pharmacy exclusively for 1 year now) they still manage to be friendly and get it done. It's corporate responsibility to properly staff their facility, so corporate would only get one star for the consistent understaffing but the pharnacy team here definitely deserves five stars!!

Pharmacy not well managed. Poor customer service and no follow-through.Booked a covid test online for 4 pm today. Arrived at the pharmacy drive-thru at 3:57. Gave my confirmation number to 3 different "techs," waited 15 minutes only to be told they had "technical difficulties" and no test. Tech told me to contact "corporate" to find out why I wasn'tnotified. Contacted store manager and she was similarly unhelpful.Unnaceptable that someone very sick has to drive to CVS and wait for nothing. I am now unable to get a test locally today.

The long line at the pharmacy is ridiculous when there are two windows. The lane labeled drop off never has anyone dropping of a Rx, most are called in.Often the line with the window has a line 6 or 7 cars long... The long waits seem unnecessarywindow of the pha

Awful, awful, awful! You could DIE before the pharmacy answers the phone. Their automated system is a No. 1 joke. I am so sick and tired of waiting for service! They also get prescriptions mixed up or say you have no refills left when clearly it’s noted otherwise on the current bottle. Disgusted. Tried to call management to complain - no one answers phone. DONE with them!

Worse than the North Port CVS. When I get a new prescription instead of just filling it, they put it on hold and make me call in to ask them to fill it. However when you call you will be on hold for 30-45 minutes BEFORE even speaking to someone, so I usually end up just hanging up and trying again. Sixth phone call today with no answer for a total of 1 hour and 46 minutes on hold without speaking to a real person.

Lately when a doctor sends a prescription to this location, I end up waiting several days for it to be filled. The last time was a pain med(non opioid), that I needed as I had a back and neck injury. That prescription never was filled. Now I'm waiting on two more, and it's been two days. I know staffing is rough everywhere, but what used to take an hour, now takes days. I feel bad for people who need their meds, such as pain or antibiotics right away, and are made to wait days and days.

Very poorly run pharmacy. Hold times on the phone are atrocious and when you do get through they often hang up on you. When you finally do get a pharmacist, they're rude!
