I spoke to Heather, who was very helpful and made a stressful situation a lot less stressful. She printed out everything I needed and when I went in the next day to pick them up, the teller knew exactly where to find them. Really helpful and friendly people. I love this location.

I’ve had a Veterans Checking account for over 2 years. Went to deposit a Cashier’s Check from my mother’s estate(she passed and I am the only heir) AND THEY WOULDN’T LET ME DEPOSIT IT! I have all the court paperwork. Supposedly it’s up to the Branch Manager. Well, Chase is losing me and my wife as customers. Everyone else should leave them also. If they will not take a Cashiers check, what else won’t they do for you? Screw them.

I have not lived in Venice for several years. I have not had a safe deposit box at this branch of Chase bank for at least 6 or maybe 7 years. I got a bill for $55 for my safe deposit box rental. I wrote a note and sent it back saying I didn't have a box there and there was obviously an error. Did they take care of it? NO. Two months later, Aug. 2020, I get an overdue notice from CHASE customer service center. It's so annoying when you have to spend time and effort on stuff like this. Couldn't they read my original note and take care of it rather than pushing "up the chain?"

Whenever I call I get “we’re sorry, all branch representatives are busy.” There’s always a wait for a personal banker and often you’ll have to schedule an appointment for the next day. They seem understaffed and it’s inconvenient to get service here.

This bank used to be good. Since Covid 19 arrived they are totally horrible. I recently made an appointment to see a banker at the Venice Ave. branch. Later that same day I received a message from the branch manager that due to unforeseen circumstances they would be closed and MAYBE if it was URGENT I could call myself and make an appointment at the North Port branch as this would be the ONLY Chase bank open on a Friday in our area. Great customer service would have been for them to call the North Port office themselves and make an appointment there for me at approx. the same time since something happened to make them close the next day. But no - I was on my own. Or better yet - offer to come into the Venice Ave. branch at a set time on Friday so I could meet with a banker. There are things that cannot be done unless a banker assists you. The best they had was for me to come on Monday. Had I not been very proactive I would have missed my closing date as my funds could not have been wired in time. There are reasons people make appointments just as there are reasons people need to cancel. I'm very unsatisfied with how this was handled by this bank.

Rude both times I was there . Had me return my safety boxes in Sarasota and then when I went to sign up for them at their branch they tried to charge me for the second one. Manager and staff alike are incompetent and non accommodating . I’m a private chase client with cash in their bank and they treaed

Great customer service..hours of operation beat all other banks..offer great incentives. And treat all customers the same reguardless of their financial status.

Convenient location, large, easily accessible parking lot. Has both drive-through and walkup ATM's. Staff is very friendly, make an effort to know customers. Officers readily available most of the time. Longest hours open of banks in Venice, including Saturday's. Same day posting of deposits.
