I used People's Choice in Valrico for my move to Tampa in 2020, and have kept my items there since. They've had a change in management during this time, and the new owners are great. The facility is very well kept and the management is understanding and flexible.

New management impossible to get a hold of. It's only possible to speak with an offsite third party phone service. They tell me they will forward message to the manager but after repeated attempts and no response back, including emails, I'm forced to leave a 1 star review for nonexistent customer service.

Scroll past this one.Their sites are not secure.My car was broken into ~ battery stolen, sensor cable cut, wiring harness ruined, fans stolen - my car was totaled.Terrible customer service.

Beware!!! This company bought the storage facility where I rented a storage unit for 15 years. My credit card was hacked and because a new number was issued, the payment was denied. The previous management would have placed a notice on the unit immediately when the card was denied. We came and went from the unit during the time between the denied payment and the date of the auction. People’s Choice did not place a notice on my unit until 7 days before the auction and after they had racked up astronomical fees!!! This is unethical and unconscionable!!! Now my wedding dress and children’s infant clothing are in the hands of a stranger!!!

Where is my refund? I don't have a space there, never got a unit, because the unit was taken, so I called to cancel. And I called, and I called, and I called. No one is able to help. You owe me money. You actually had the audacity to write and tell me that an upcoming draft is coming out of my account on September 1st. I've called my bank, unfortunately, I had to - your company is unresponsive, and it's so terribly unfair. Please look up this issue, and return my money. It's not your money, and you don't deserve it. I never secured a unit. This is now two weeks old, come on.Hey, Mister Storage: I can't get through to the office! Read my review!

I have been a customer at this location since 2018 and have witnessed several property managers come and go. I've had issues in the PAST with payments not being posted and not being able to get anyone to return my calls but moving everything would have been such an undertaking that I just managed the frustration.However, there is a fairly new property manager now that is really great. She's attentive, actually answers the phone and/or returns calls quickly, when I had questions about my account she actually took the time to research my file rather than just telling me that happened before she started working there and couldn't help me. She's really friendly and seems to want to really help where she can.The facility is a little older but aside from some dust and such I've not had any problem with water or rodents causing damage. Unlike a lot of storage facilities, I've never felt unsafe being there alone.The access hours are prob the only real downside. 7a-7p doesn't allow for swinging by early morning to grab some tools I may have stored on the way to work, and doesn't really allow time to get there after work to unload or switch out stuff for the next day. However, I knew this from the beginning and accepted the terms when I chose to rent.It would be great if they went 24 hours now that they added the automatic gate that requires a gate code. Guess I'll watch and see.

All of my lifelong belongings were completely ruined after being stored here for just over one month. The manager ASSURED me that the units were secure from leaks and other damaging elements. He was unresponsive when I called about my unit flooding. The most unprofessional, scandalous, disgusting “business” I have ever experienced. Do not store your belongings here!!!!

They changed owenship in January and I wasn't informed. My unit was broken into and there was no one on site or an emergency number. I had insurance with the old company. The new company wants me to prove it. There is no on site personal. I have lost everything that was worth anything. Paige sucks as a manager.
