I've used this vet clinic for 18 years, before Dr Thomassy took the lead. They have treated my champion show dogs, rescues, and family pets. I have taken my exotic reptiles there as well as birds and guinea pigs. Dr Thomassy is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects and has saved me money many times when my local vet suggested expensive treatments and procedures. I highly recommend this clinic!

I wanted to share my amazing experience I had during my annual check up visit. Mrs. Alexandra Allen was above and beyond with taking care of my pet. She made sure was everything done perfectly and educated me and advised how better taking care of my pet, to continue healthy life. I am so glad I had opportunity that my pet was under her care. I would be recommending , she is the best. Than you so much mrs Alexandra.

10/10 recommend Dr. Allen, she is always so kind, informative and honest about what’s best for our dog! I feel confident bringing our rescue here because they are patient while he takes time to warm up and they want what’s best. They also refer out if they know a better option for your pup, showing they aren’t just about the money like some vets!

We have been taking our Blue and Gold Macaw to a veterinarian in Lakeland for 8 years. (I will not name)Very unsatisfied with them so we gave Valrico a chance. We are more than happy with the services we received. Very happy with the Dr. and the staff. We will be using them for all future services. Special thanks to Lauren. Very kind and helpful staff. Dr. Thomassey and his assistant Lindsey are amazing! They were very kind and gentle with my sweet maltipoo! They thoroughly explained the surgery to correct her patellar luxation and they provided me with a written quote for the procedure, including after care. Valrico Animal Clinic will be our permanent Vet!

The office was very organized and clean. The associates at the desk were very nice and helpful and giving me Check-in for my cat spanky. The technicians treated spanky with great care and resdoctor Allen recognized his condition. Had tests run by her technicians, which took the time and courtesy to explain everything to me. They even got back to me a day later with the test results, which was great. I'm glad they did great place to go I would suggest that to anyone. Doctor Allen is great.
