Publix is always a pleasure to do grocery shopping. From the get go of a nice, fresh smell going in (baking bread if you go early in the morning), to the clean floors and stocked, neat shelves, it almost relieves the pain of ever-increasing food costs! ($6.99 lb. for 8/20 ground beef is mind-blowing!)

My wife and I just Left this Publix Supermarket visiting the pharmacy to pick up some medications and were refused to have a prescription filled for decadron elixir 0.5 mg( steroids for mouth wash for lichen planus that was diagnosed after a biopsy and this was the second time we were ordering at this same location ) and were falsely accused of forging a prescription. Our doctor gave us two prescriptions due to an extended trip we are taking out of the country, so as we’ve done in the past we went to our local Publix pharmacy to get it filled as we leave this Sunday.
Joseph the manager working that night, didn’t even attempt to find out more about the situation when we requested to speak with a manager in regard to the issue.
It’s obvious he spoke with the pharmacy prior, because the first things out his mouth was that the signature in the prescriptions don’t look the same from the doctor.
The lack of professionalism and disrespect from him and the person who attended us at the pharmacy is appalling. We’ve been coming here for over 10 years now, and this will be the last time I will ever come back to this Publix and I suggest no one bothers wasting their time.
This is not the only poor review about this issue about customer service with them, it probably won’t be the last.
In the end my wife was refused her prescription for her mouth wash which helps her with an AUTOIMMUNE Disease she struggles with every day.
