“Looks like it's been 6 years since I gave these guys a review, so high time for an update...Yesterday evening, our well pump failed. Friday evening, of course! It's 6:45pm and I know Ace closes at 7. So, I call them to see if they have starting capacitors (having checked I had voltage right up to the capacitor). A lovely lady checked for me and said they had several, so I hot-foot it up there.The young lady who'd been so helpful on the phone - Traylee - went above and beyond helping me find the nearest-sized capacitor. She was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly, even though it was closing time. Even when the manager started hassling us to finish up (which I felt was a bit uncalled for), Traylee held her ground because she was in the middle of helping her customer.I run a software company with some big, Fortune 1000 customers, and that is EXACTLY the kind of customer service I try to encourage from our employees.My prediction: Miss Traylee will be managing the store a couple of years from now.”

“Whether you spend 5 bucks or $500, this is the place. It's rare for them to not have what I need and the staff are quick to help. A bit more family feel than HD or Lowes. They have their place, but normally my first stop is Ace.”

“The associate went above and beyond to find an old paint order for me which I needed quickly before my contractor was scheduled to begin some work. I waited outside the store to be sure I was the first customer and I was in a panic. I had too small of a sample of paint and it was undetectable from the paint reader. He didn’t give up and and researched my account and really went the extra mile. In my haste, I didn’t catch his name. He was the only employee at the Lithia, FL store on Tuesday 12/19/23 at 7am. I hope he gets a raise!”
