I have been trying to get a refund for over 6 months on a balance not utilized. Getting some run around about the previous owner and my money but i honestly dont care. I payed HLC and I expect HLC to refund me the money I dont care whos pocket it comes out of. I also find it funny i paid my 3rd installment early but they only want to give me half of it back. I do not recommend getting a package or prepaying here.

STAY AWAY of this center if you want to be treated well! The environment is unpleasant and the front office staff is very rude to parents. As a parent you have no right to even talk to your kids teachers or even learn about the plan of study. They assign teachers to your kids based on their teachers availability and not based on your kids need. You pay lots of money for nothing rather than to get someone treat you in a bad way. We tried many times to reach out to Tyla Phillip to address our concerns but she was useless in resolving any issue. they deserve zero star and not even one star.

Staff very rude (The front desk Joy) she has no respect to people. Place is very unorganised. We show up to meet with the instructor and she will not even be there! Do not waste your time and money in this place unless you want to be treated like garbage! All they care about is money and payments. This place is such a joke!

VERY RUDE Staff. Unorganized and way over priced for low quality education. All they care about is money and they treat you disrespectfully. Go somewhere else and spend your hard earned money somewhere else

The joy that has been felt within a learning environment such as Huntington Learning Center Brandon, has been both rewarding and humbling as an educator. It’s nice to see that the center is filled with highly educated teachers and each student works with the best of the best! The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Teachers work well together and welcome each family as a member of the family.

Dr. Phillip and her team have done a wonderful job preparing both of my children for the HSPT and SSAT! They both like all the teachers, and we are all made to feel welcome when we walk in the front door. 5 Stars, in my opinion!

As the parent of a “former employee” I am disappointed in the way they would treat someone they hired. I put quotations around former employee as he was hired and promptly “laid off” due to the fact he had not graduated with his engineering degree yet. This requirement was not in their job posting when he applied (I checked immediately as I had recommended he apply) and his resume clearly states his graduation date, etc… There was no type of deception on his behalf. He interviewed, accepted the job, put his weeks in as a CSR for USF’s Admissions office, took the required tests, and did several days of shadowing all to be called the day before his first official work day and let down nicely by the manager. She apologized for not realizing he had not already received his degree. Again, this was not listed as a requirement on Indeed; it simply stated Bachelors (preferred). To their benefit that detail has been rectified and now reflects the true qualifications. I feel it was a very unfortunate mixup for everyone involved. However, the part where they let my son quit his job, train for days/hours and then chose not to pay him for his time is a real sore spot for me. After weeks had gone by his father and I prompted him to call and inquire with the manager. We thought, well. they probably just have a paper check for him or something. Nope. According to the explanation given to our son, the manager had discussed it with the owner and they decided to just void his hours since he didn’t inform her of his degree status and he had only taken the test (4 hour test, by the way) and shadowed (for a full 8 hours one of those days). Ummm… I’m honestly just at a loss and obviously upset enough to write a review.Bottom line - That’s a terrible thing to do to any person. I would never recommend this business just as I would never give my business to a place that would treat a soon-to-be USF Honors Graduate with such disregard. Shoot, no person should be treated with such disregard for their time and effort. He had a job that he quit to work here. I’m sorry I encouraged him and sorry any business would conduct themselves in this way. No, thank you, Huntington Learning Center. I’d give you zero stars if it were possible.

Huntington Learning Center Brandon (and Mrs. Rebecca) is AMAZING! Within a short period of time - a little over 2 months - they helped my son raise his SAT score by nearly 200 points (160 points to be exact). We started Huntington with the hopes of getting an SAT score that would qualify for bright futures, and Huntington assisted my son with accomplishing that goal in a very short period of time. More importantly, I witnessed my son go from insanely nervous on test day to a kid that exuded great confidence during his last round of testing. What a tremendously valuable experience. Spend a little now to save a lot later. I can’t say enough great things about this center and the great work they did in tutoring my son to achieve SAT success. The confidence booster was an added bonus, too. Thank you Mrs. Rebecca and Huntington for knocking it out of the park with my son. Your tutors are top notch, and you have a forever fan in me. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

My daughter needed help getting her SAT score up in order to qualify for the Bright Futures Scholarship. Even with Covid causing delays they did work to get her the tutoring needed. In the end she did qualify for the scholarship so I feel this was good value. I appreciate all they did to help her reach her goal.

They were very helpful and supportive of my individual situation. They ensured they paired with me with the right teacher, someone who could help me with what I specifically needed. If I didn’t move I would’ve continued attending.
