My father went into the store for a new phone for our phone plan. The sales rep, Julio was the name on the receipts, was upselling for accessories and services that he didn't want or need. I've worked retail before and understand that upselling is needed at times but this seemed excessive.In this case, the sales rep kept telling my father to get his phone he had to have optional services such as insurance. My father called me confused about this because we didn't have to last time and I spoke with both. The rep kept saying that he had to put insurance on it to get the phone but he can to take it off later online. I informed the rep that we had insurance on the devices through an outside company and didn't need insurance, he insisted he had to have it to get the phone.After that call, I reached out to another AT&T store and they advised that insurance is not required to get a new phone but a breach of ethics to force place it. I called the store my father was at and informed him that I spoke with another store about the case. The rep still fought to keep it. My mother eventually heard about the issue and she called the store also.Eventually, they took the force placed insurance off. I get how commission works but shouldn't take advantage of an older customer and force place things on people. My father wouldn't have even known how to take it off online if it was left on.

I really had bad experience with this store manager, he was rude and asked me to go to other ATT stores if i don’t agree to him and never listened my end of the conversationHe did not wear ATT shirt or visible badge.. he never gave his full name and mentioned his name is Jay which i assume is false. He don’t know his passwords to login to Ipad and unable to use the equipment properly.. he had to change IPad multiple times.I felt threatened by the end of the conversation and asked me to pay 5$ for sim but later he fixed it with esim.. I did not follow why he asked me money when he knew it can fixed with esim.Please review security footage on 05/30/2023 to make sure right employee is working at the location not some random weirdo.

I came to the store at 1956 e brandon blvd. To get a problem fixed with my phones but NO cant even get it done cause the store closed early this is the second time i ran into this problem at this one store its crazy i have had nothing but issues since i switched i am not happy your phones issues has cost me alot of money and a lot or lost time on customers service its awful!!!!!!

Went to get my husband a new cell phone. Jon V ( manager) was very helpful and knowledgeable. Took his time making sure the phone was all set up and that my husband understood how to transfer the things on his old phone to the new one. He actually started the transfer and let him know what he needed to do next.Would definitely recommend anyone looking for upgrade or change phones to visit Jon V.
