Two years ago, while I was deployed, they installed the wrong battery in my Prius for my wife. They also overcharged for replacing the battery connectors, which were not even the correct size. Now, I'm stuck finding new connectors so they can properly fit the correct battery. This makes me seriously doubt the quality of their work on more complex jobs than a simple battery replacement. I can't recommend this place based on my experience.

Really great guy. Honest work and he makes an effort to treat each customer like an actual person. Got my car fixed up quickly and back on the road. Small town feel at this shop.

I absolutely LOVE this place. They treat you like family and make sure they take care of you all the way around. Nothing is missed. I needed a part that was almost $300 and Shawn took the time out of his day to sit with me, call around and look on the internet for a cheaper fit, and we did!! It cost me $60 total and I was ecstatic.
He has the best prices around (I called around before going to him as I’m new to the area and was researching) and even offered to provide me a ride back to the shop and I took it! They are truly trustworthy and understand financial situations and comes up with a plan together of how to chip away at fixing things- and what’s priority to fix first.
I will be going back for work soon and it is the ONLY place I will go. Super great guys and Shawn treats you like a Dad protecting a daughter making sure I got the best price and was happy to meet my boyfriend and ensure to him I am taken care of. They are a delight, and they have a band!
The shop is located behind the Papa Johns so don’t get confused and think you passed it. If you do call Shawn and he kindly will tell you where to come, as he did for me. :) 10/10

Shawn has great service. They were quick, kept me informed of what was going on, and good workmanship. I would definitely recommend Shawn to others and will be back in the future for any automotive issues.

Had my truck A/C worked on- not pleased. - still not cooling. Went to Lovering’s - so much better..Twin city auto also does a/c. Told me he had to replace expansion valve- “Not True” did not need it..
Be careful going to Shawn’s. Shawns- they are friendly..

I brought my car a Buick LeSabre to be fixed at this place. Shawn said he could fix and that it needed a new engine. We payed him half of the estimated amount dew. Then it sat on his lot for a year. With multiple phone calls back and forth. Stating that he put in the new engine and couldn't figure out why it wouldn't start. That was about 6 months of having my car at that point. Then wanted more money to try and order a bybass part to see if it would worked. But he told my husband he felt bad and would cover the charges. Now that was another six months with no more up contact. Then proceeded to have my car towed off as a abandoned vehicle. I would not recommend using Shawn's auto shack for any service.

Highly recommend! My battery was a bit too complicated for AutoZone to replace, but Shawn had me in and out in less than half an hour with no appointment! He was also very friendly and affordable. I will be sending my friends and family here. One thing though, he is not located in Valparaiso as Apple Maps would have you believe, he's behind the Papa John's next to the Danny's in Niceville.

Shaun's Auto Shack offered me quality service! Shaun is highly qualified and was able to immediately assess and fix several issues that i had with my car. His pricing is fair and kept me within budget. Shaun did an outstanding job on repairing my vehicle, I would highly recommend him to anyone within the 325xx area!

If your looking for an honest auto repair and maintenance facility, this is the place. Tire blew out at high speed and we had to put the tiny Donut spare on and drove till we could get a new tire mounted on the rim. When we went to mount it on there was no clearance between the strut and we found out that the strut itself had been bent from the disintegrating tire at 80 mph. We took it to a few places they wanted to replace a number of things that looked fine and the wheel well liner wasn't even damaged, with prices up to $1,900. Took it to Shawn's Auto shack, and he showed us specifically what Got bent, and all the other items that other people wanted to charge for or just fine they weren't even tire marks on them. He could have made a lot more money by charging us for things we didn't need, but he's fair and honest and the vehicle's back on the road and less than $500. This is a place I would send somebody who didn't know anything about cars, and easily taken advantage of buy a lot of mechanics. Not the case here If I could give six stars this is one of my 250 some reviews that I would give six stars too.
