When it comes to the store itself, it's fantastic! It's clean, it's organized, and if you use the app to find which aisle you're looking for, it's just about always there. I did have an issue once with the app saying something was in stock when it wasn't, but it was right before a hurricane and things were crazy, so I'll cut them a break. The staff though are where things start to go down hill. I had an old man working there complain to me for AN HOUR about how he doesn't know why he does this job and how he should just quit while I waited for him to get some bins off a pallet overhead for me. I must agree with him, he absolutely should quit! Just seems like the old retired guys that work there would literally rather be anywhere else. In a place where service is so important, this is a major down-side.Stay Fresh Mother Fooders! :p

poor customer service for the kitchen department - for one thing they ask you to pay 100 percent upfront for a kitchen renovation and there starts all the issues. The designer who originally came had good ideas and the countertop which has finally been installed looks great although they lost the faucet and didn't connect the stove - so no water or stovetop. No one to answer the phone when you call. more to come to come as the renovation continues at a glacial pace.

It's your typical two below average Home Depot. If you're lucky, you'll find somebody who knows what they're talking about if you need help. Otherwise good luck. The place is sort of disorganized and I heard employees grumbling to themselves that they were overwhelmed. Welcome to the United States of America's workforce today. God bless America.

I replaced my fridge and ordered online, Home Depot, Bradenton, Fl. I called the Home Depot to verify that my copper line for water was ok for hookup and the woman in large appliances said yes. "Good to go." The delivery day, the driver from a delivery service said they weren't allowed to touch copper lines. He stated, " HD changed their policy and now we have to hookup with the flexiline, which I bought, and have a shut off valve." So my old fridge was left and the new fridge was placed in my LR. I scrambled to book a plumber to get this done same day. When I called HD back he said the next available install day was one week later; I told him this week only or take your fridge back." So much for CS. I will never order from HD again. Web site had no updated info for the consumer nor the sales in the store.

I went to the university location to buy blinds. Not helpful and told me they don't have. Lol. I went to Lowe's. Much more successful there. Get on with it you can go bankrupt too H.D. Eventually everyone will go somewhere else. Your customer service is an oxymoron.

Regrettably I can only do one star I would much prefer to do zero. I know that Home Depot nationwide are getting busier because more people are spending money on their homes, but service is getting worse and I mean really bad.I Literally just left the Home Depot on University Boulevard here in Sarasota, I needed to buy a tip for a paint sprayer. I understand that these things are frequently stolen, which is why they have them locked up. I asked a female paint associate to open up the lockbox and get me a 517 tip. She was rude, cold, acted like she was put out by the fact that I asked for help , told me I had to walk straight to checkout. Then proceeded to walk over herself scan the item and watch me as I paid for it.I am a white male Caucasian in my late 50s I own multiple businesses. Getting treated like a criminal is sobering to say the least! You can imagine how she would treat a minority.Moving forward I'll just pay the extra few bucks they charge at Sherwin-Williams and continue to frequent Ace more often. It won't make a dent in the multi billion dollar industry, that Home Depot isBut their staff is beyond redundant.

12/20/22 I went to my local Home Depot to purchase a new refrigerator. After hours of weighing all the decisions, we finally picked out the refrigerator of our dreams. Delivery was set for nine days later. I took a day off of work for this. The fridge arrived at our house with a forklift hole through the side of the refrigerator. I received a call that night, asking why we refused delivery. Apparently they did not read the notes from the driver. I explained what happened, they apologized, and assured me they would get one out the next week. The next week comes, and I take another vacation day. Truck gets here, they unload the refrigerator, absolutely no visible damage again to the packaging, until they open up the shrink wrap. At that point we noticed yet another large hole in the refrigerator, this time on the rear, that I actually severed a line inside the fridge. That evening I get another call again asking why I refused delivery. After explaining what happened, they again apologized and asked me what they could do to make it right. I told them "the only thing I want is a working refrigerator", and I did ask them that on the third attempt that a manager themself would inspect my refrigerator before loading it on the Home Depot truck to bring it to me. They said that they could make sure that that would happen and guaranteed me that the third delivery would be better than the first two. That evening, I called the local Home Depot, where I purchased this and spoke to the manager. Told him about the ineptitude of Frigidaire and Home Depot. He apologized. I take it another day off work, for attempt number three and guess what, fridge number three is also damaged. The entire corner of the fridge is crumbled. Another call from Home Depot / Frigidaire asking why I refused delivery again. I pointed out that I have not denied any delivery, they were "Undeliverable" per the drivers. At this point, it is almost becoming comical, and Frigidaire is truly the butt of jokes at my place of employment. Again, I ask for a manager to personally inspected before sending me fridge number for. Home Depot/Frigidaire again agrees to this. We wait another week for attempt number four, and take yet another vacation day, four in total now, with hopes that we can put all this behind us. Only to be let down yet again. The fourth unit arrives and after they uppackage it, it is discovered the door is crumbled in the corner. I go to my local Home Depot store and speak to the assistant store manager and ask him to have the Frigidaire sales rep Give me a call. The manager assures me that there would be compensation discussed and all things would be made right once I accept a delivery of a working fridge. He told me that approximately $200 is the going rate for a failed delivery attempt. I pointed out that we have already had four, and are waiting on the fifth. I asked him is $1000 compensation really a possibility? He said and I quote, "it is within the range that we are allowed to approve so it is not out of the question, but it is up to the store manager to make that decision". At this point it's not even funny anymore, but that really helped calm me down. I wait a week, no calls from Frigidaire. Today, I get a call from Home Depot asking me if Frigidaire had called me. I told them no, but I would really like to speak to someone there. "Home Depot regrets to inform me that Frigidaire has now canceled my order because of their policy that after four attempted deliveries, they will cancel the order". I am extremely curious how Frigidaire can, or should, cancel my order when they were the ones that damaged my fridge. This is absolutely asinine. The only thing I want out of this is a fridge, that is working, undamaged, and I feel now I should be given a free warranty for all of my hassles. If Frigidaire truly stands behind their quality, which it doesn't appear at the moment that they do, they should have no problem compensating me with a warranty when they can finally get their head out of their a** and

DONT ever purchase any gift cards from here. They are NOT water proof and will be destroyed in the wash. on top of this their manager Malik's Farmington led me to believe that I would be refunded if I brought the washed out gift card into the store even though the numbers was washed away. I WILL NEVER purchase another gift card from here. Forin law

Do not shop here!! I searched to store for a particular toilet seat on Jan 14. The only non-moron working there told me the toilet seat we wanted was out of stock and had to be ordered up front. I dutifully went to a young moron who filled out the order for 20 minutes getting everything wrong and needing my corrections. He charged me $50.60 and gave me the order. We heard nothing so yesterday my wife went into the store where they accused her and of course me of being toilet seat thieves!! The same young moron lied and said I had taken it with me. The order where I corrected everything else said wrongly that I had taken it with me. My wife got me on the phone and I explained that their own inventory records will prove that the seat ordered wasn't in stock on Jan 14!! They refused to believe either of us and did nothing. They are not only moronic but also thieves as they have our money.

The way Home Depot manages COVID19 is impressive. Provide masks and alcohol papers based on the expected value of the masks and the number of people in the store. The roadside is clearly marked and staffed with staff ready to bring you items at any time.

Level of customer service is atrocious. Jake gave nothing but a negative attitude and had us running in circles. Not friendly or helpful. Would recommended getting help from Gertrude, she was at least apologetic for the inconveniences.

Went I to Home Depot to get paint today and ended up spending just under $200 for supplies. Went to pay for my items and the only thing open was self service check out. About half way through I scanned something incorrectly and the register said "customer needs assistance". Waited and waited and finally said something to some guy that had an orange apron that was sitting by the door. He looked irritated and called a cashier over who proceeds to tell me how to ring up my items. First I don't want to ring up my own stuff! I'm not a cashier. Last visit to Home Depot unless I absolutely can't get it from someplace else. Your customer service stinks and your employees are disengaged and unhappy. I can go to Walmart for that.
