I've been at Staples for HOURS today. 1. The people who work here are nice but their equipment and skills are lacking. 2. They have been without a business card cutter for weeks now so they are cutting cards with a laser which is taking forever especially considering they have had to remake my cards numerous times today because the first time the font didn't show the rest of the times the cards were misaligned. Finally I agreed just to have the front made not the back of the card. All of this took almost SIX hours of my day and driving back and forth. I have to have business cards for an event tomorrow - they look super cruddy. I could have purchased ink and cards and done it myself better in hind site or had another store create them. I'm exhausted and still have lots of things to do before my flight tomorrow. This was very inconvenient. Also way under staffed!! Give employees what they need so they can be the best for your customers.

Disarray, under staffed, lack of inventory. Will Staples be the next major chain to die in its brick and mortar model?

Absolutely disgusting. The entire store smells like a gym locker. The mens restroom was dingy, dark, smells, dirty. It just shows the manger has zero pride for themselves and their store. The staff just standing around, when they should be cleaning. I also don't understand why half of the lights in the store and bathroom are off. What's going on here?

I did the online design marketing not knowing what my options were. When I arrived at the store Mel explained what my options were and got the job done that day. Thanks to Mel going above and beyond...

Needed to take a small purchase and had a question. The gal running the customer service section helped the gal in front of me and then just left! Sooooo I wandered around looking at things thinking she'd come back. She did but as I walked up she decided to help a guy buying a box at the other counter. Of course she did. You couldn't pay me enough to go back in there. So much for supporting businesses that employ local people.

If I could give them less than one star I would. Just went in to buy a printer and was told.... "we don't have any in stock, don't know when we will get them. And there is no one here to help you." I just had a question about a printer and their lack of manners made it easy for me to drive over to Best Buy. At Best Buy they said , of course... answered the question , helped pick out the best printer for my needs, and said "not a problem...it isn't in stock but we can order one and have it to you within a few days". I think Staples could fire their lazy, don't get off your butt employees they currently have..and hire some of the people that are in need of a job.

Not the most helpful employees in the print area. Asked for help with the printers and response was all verbal. Nobody else was there, get off your butt and help me. I bet if I walked out of the store with numerous items you would get moving. Store is fine and organized but the management and employers just lack effort.

Stopped at Staples off University Parkway across the road from the University Towne Center Mall to buy something today. I thought those who were accommodating me solved it on the fly by just stepping back a few feet and pulled their mask down so I could see their lips. Or there were other employees not wearing a mask but kept the social distance, which worked fine for me. Sign language wouldn't work because I don't know it since I normally speak and converse everywhere. The masks weren't really a problem until I shopped at the Staples® store. I was looking at a product that was around $200 and I was inquiring about it that was in boxes and the one that was on the floor as a display model. I couldn't find a salesperson on the floor so I asked the young lady at the customer service counter. She had a mask on and I was able to work it out with her when she "mimed" that someone was on the floor and that I would have to just go look for the person. She seemed busy with her phone and was not happy with having to get her message across to me. I went back to the display area and walked around and spotted a young employee gentleman and asked him about the product I was inquiring and he talked with his mask on and it wasn't working because it was getting complicated. So I told him about my hearing loss and I explained that I need to read lips to communicate. He sort've froze for a second, "mimed" for me to wait a minute and left. Another young gentleman came over and I went through the whole thing with him about communication barrier. I even suggested he could write it out what he was saying. He just stood there and continue speaking with his mask on. I could see he was wearing his badge that was a little different than the general employees and had the "supervisor" or "manager" shirt on. I would think he would be, at the very least, accommodating, in the best interest of Staples ®, and his job. But, nope, he refused to accommodate me in any way whatsoever. I asked again and again let him know about the communication problem to be sure he understood clear as day what I was saying. But the expression on his face, which showed through the mask, made it very clear he will not do anything about it. I was surprised.

The store might as well close at 8pm. I went in 5 mins after 8pm and they were already closing all the gates over the doors and all the staff stood at the front near the doors the entire 50 mins I was in the store. All chatting about their weekend plans and using some pretty unsavory language including the F- word and saying "this is BS" every time a customer walked in. Made me feel ultra uncomfortable and hurried to leave. I would be totally shocked if this store makes it another year. No wonder these stores are being forced to close. It's not the lack or traffic or customers OR customers turning to online shopping. It's the people these businesses are employing and the businesses lack of checking up on these workers. Good luck Staples! With this stores staff your going to need it. Date and time of visit: 02/29/2020 8:05pm-9pm

Stopped in today to ask for a quote for a booklet and Dennis was very helpful! Will definitely return to have the booklet printed when I have it ready.
