tl;dr
Customer service doesn't care about you, in-store or online. Spend your money elsewhere.
This is a terrible location. I can see I'm not the only person who has struggled with the staff being rude and unwilling to assist. I had a very simple issue with a previous purchase that I needed updated. I still wanted the items, I had nothing to return, but the coupons were not properly applied. I went in store and the woman told me she had no idea how to fix that (as someone who has spent years in retail I could have walked her though it) but she said no I don't understand.
I followed up by contacting Joann's Custom Service through the website to see if they would be willing to help and all I got was a "Your feedback has been documented! Thanks!" and I have since been ghosted despite attempts to follow up on what I foolishly thought would be a simple fix. I couldn't even get a "We don't do that, sorry." response which would be unbelievable but would have at least shown someone read my initial query.
I have never had this much trouble with such a simple problem. I don't have time for companies that don't care about their customers. Shopping and affording items these days is already a nightmare, especially in coastal Florida.
My advice? Find a better, preferably local business to give your money to. Joann's has no time for you and they will make that very clear, in-store and online.

First off, I want to comment on the great customer service that I received in the fabric and sewing department. Secondly, I can't believe huge selection of high-quality fabrics organized extremely well and decently priced with the good sale going on. Everything was organized Better than I ever seen at any fabric shop. They even had designer fabrics, just the amount of denim that they had took up a row. I can't recommend the store. Also, I was told that the store has even larger selection And is their Flagship store and I look forward to visiting it soon. Please support this business all around five stars

This store is in desperate need of Corporate attention. The store is in complete disarray. JoAnn needs to focus on sewing, crafts, and classes. Get rid of the candy, grocery bags, kids toys, and home decor. Anticipate a 10-20 min. wait in line to checkout, because despite having six registers, you're lucky if two of them are open. I rarely find what I want, and when I do, the shelf or bin is empty. Thread and ribbons are always a disaster. Despite having a good location, this store is a mess!

Carol, who measures and cuts fabric, is great. She is patient and knowledgeable and acknowledges people who come up to the counter to get in line with their fabric.

Terrible customer service. The employees actually were publicly commenting about how they couldn’t wait until it was closing time. Totally unhelpful.

I know it’s lunchtime and busy, but there’s no need to be rude. I had a yes or no question about a sewing machine.A woman in the front didn’t know, so I went to the back. It’s busy of course and there’s a line of people with fabric to cut, so I told the woman at the counter that I knew she was busy, but asked if she knew where I could go for help. She scoffed at me “WELL… It’s Lunchtime and there’s only FOUR people here, so…”I said, “okay, I’m sorry..” and the woman scoffed again and then yanked her one yard of fabric back to remeasure it with an obvious eyeroll to the woman she was helping cut fabric for.Just was completely unnecessary.

Checked online before going to the store to make sure the product was in stock, but when I got to the store, it was not displayed and 2 associates said they had 400 boxes in back that hadn’t been emptied as they don’t have enough employees to stock shelves. They recommended I drive 20 minutes to another store. Sounds like employees are being paid too little. Pay a good wage and you’ll have people who want to work and you’ll actually be able to sell product instead of it sitting in boxes in the back. We went across the street to Michael’s and found what we needed.
