I've been to a number of hot rod mechanics over the years. I feel like I finally found a one stop shop that sees my car as their own and wants to make it the best car it can be. Trust comes slowly with shops typically, but we were on the same page from the jump. Hank is a very knowledgeable and upfront owner with very talented guys in the shop. I would be making a mistake to take my cars anywhere else.

If you want it done right, go to Hank. If you want a cheap job, look elsewhere. Hank rebuilt the suspension, steering, and rear end drivetrain; and cleaned up many other issues on my 1965 Corvette. It drives like a dream now. Hank has a very well-equipped shop and two very knowledgeable and skillful mechanics – Michael and Derrek. I won’t trust my Corvette to anyone else. Next project: adding power steering.

I had been searching for a reliable company to work on my 1965 Buick Wildcat that could do both paintwork and upholstery and found the right combination with Hot Rods Hanks. The color match was perfect and I couldn't be happier with the new front seat.

Dropped my 70 Mustang to Hank's shop. Very nice shop, well-kept and clean. Lot's of high-end builds going on. He did a deep dive on my baby. Pulled the whole rear end out, fuel tank, suspension, etc. Installed a new RideTech coilover system with rear cage, welded in MOD subframe connectors and installed a bump steer kit on the front end. He and his guys did a great job. Highly recommend Hot Rod Hanks!

Hank is the best. Brought in a 60 year old classic Buick to get thoroughly inspected and running right. The old carb was shot. Hank searched his contacts until he found 1 in California. Now the car runs great. I would recommend Hanks for your classic needs. He is fair, honest and really discusses your needs for your vehicle.

If I could give zero stars I would. We had a truck built by Hank. We live in a different state so we trusted him to take care of us and do a good job at a fair price. He went significantly more than double over budget. The truck does not run correctly, transmission doesn't shift properly, motor is running poorly and radiator hoses blew off. It has paint chipping and issues with the body work. The back glass and windshield have gaps and uneven areas where the installation was done poorly. The door windows do not roll up all the way without being manually pushed up by hand. Also all the wiring is a jumbled up mess.
It has damage to the new wheels and had a flat tire. He knew about the wheel issues as they were marked by the delivery company when they picked up the truck from him. We got the truck back before he sent it to interior because of all the issues we had with the build. This is below subpar work. I feel he was dishonest about many things during this build and I would very strongly recommend NOT using this company. Personally, I feel very taken advantage of.

Hank and Derrick did an amazing job installing new suspension, new A/C, digital dash, wheels and tires on our ‘69 Nova. Their professionalism and attention to detail was second to none. If you want things done right, then I would highly recommend you put your car or truck in their hands.

Told me $60hr shop feed to look at my 67Nova. I asked him to go thru it give me an estimate, especially on overheat problem. Kept car about 2week in which time never heard from him. Finally got call stating he fixed heat issue and put 65 hrs into going thru car fixing a lot of minor issues. So do math. The bill was well over 3k, which I never would of agreed to. I felt like it was my fault for never getting written estimate before work. Now the best part. I picked up car asked him again if heat problem fixed. Which the answer was I quote “Yes ran it for 35 min, never got over 180” So paid him my approx 3500 and left. Wasn’t even back home yet and car pegged to 210. I immediately called him and he stated opposite but he said you can bring it back out but he would have to recharge me shop time. Biggest SCAM OF MY LIFE.

Took my truck to have the injectors replaced , when I picked my truck up paid and went to drive it home the transmission lines under the hood were no longer connected and the new injectors leaked all over causing air intrusions leaving me on the side of the road on my way home from the shop , I called to see if he could correct the leak since it wasn’t leaking fuel before and was told I would have to pay extra , the work that was done was never checked before the truck was picked up , as a disabled combat vet with 3 small children I had to save to get it fixed the first time and now I have to save again to have the work done again , I would NOT recommend this guy due to the lack of quality work and poor customer service , quality control was not done I’m extremely disappointed in the work preformed
