It’s really fun I think you should go to be honest it looks boring but it’s really really really fun and you can get scared and shy that’s how I was the first week I went in 2023 and I was like that for a while but then I met a counselor there and she helped me through it so the last couple weeks I was there I learned to have fun so yeah but it’s just a fun place I want to work there or be I CIT(counselor in training) and then maybe work there. And if you have NEVER been there it’s a little scary at first but you will make a lot of memories you won’t forget and I am going to give you advice…. Ok ready….. have fun and just be yourselfHave a fun and good rest of your day/night and if you do go I will be there btw it only goes up to age 13 and under but if you are older then 13 you can be a CIT(counselor in training) anyway enjoy. ?

I have loved every minute of every stay at the Florida Elk's Youth Camp. The restrooms were always so nice and clean. My grandson had the pleasure of staying at the camp and went on and on about the playground, how he loved it.

Great campgrounds with hotel-style amenities for adults. FRPA holds its leadership retreats here and we love it!

This is a warning to potential job candidates of the culinary department at the youth camp. The executive chef is an out of control, unprofessional, unethical, very poor supervisor. Who will belittle, downgrade and humiliate his employees, he leads with emotion not professionalism. The elks are an amazing organization, that is truly one of the best employers, and a great non profit organization, unfortunately they have allowed a 8 year rein of terror at their camp, the chef has had 100% turn over of his staff every year for 8 years , that says it all right there. But again the elks are a wonderful organization, with a BAD Apple running the culinary department. Just a warning do with it what you will. Thanks

Can't say enough about this place! Staff is friendly and easy to book. Paperwork is not overbearing.Lots for a youth group or a scout pack (like mine) to. Camping is easy and has some comforts to it, such as:Great drive in camp areas with bbq pits, group camp fire ring with bench seating, flagpole, full restrooms with power, toilets, showers and hot and cold running water, screened in pavillion with lighting, tables, big commercial ice machine, sink with hot and cold running water, lots of tables in the Pavillion would easy seat 100+ people, camping area well groomed and the campfire wood is split and stacked and provided for you. There is a full height outdoor obstacle ropes course, it's extra but well worth it depending on your kids' age groups and quantity of people attending.Well out of town, but close enough to cater food or pickup from local stores and restaurants for your outing.Good quiet family environment, and their are multiple places to camp. Manu of the sites have great lake views.A swimming pool is available during the summer months. They also have cabins for rent and standard motel type rooms as well, but for me it's all about the camping!!Oh yes, almost forgot to add, then have an outdoor archery range for youth, frisbee golf and fishing (don't forget your tackle box and best kures)!!!Restrooms: Toilets, power, lights, sinks, showers, hot and cold running water, ADA accessiblePicnic area: Bbq pits and two side bench aluminum style seating in the screened in covered, lighted, powered (with ceiling fans as well) Pavillion

Fun place for camping and enjoying the outdoors for both kids and adults. We enjoyed kayaking a lot. We will come back soon before it gets too hot.
