“I came on here to make a review and started reading all the other reviews... what can I add!?! In my 55yrs+ of taking my auto in to get fixed this place is the tops!
We were headed across the state for the wknd pulling the RV, taking the back way and my vehicle started acting up, so we just decided to limp on back home. Going through Umatilla we saw Action Auto and decided to take a chance. When he diagnosed the problem he said it would be 4days before he could do it being he was flooded with repairs - and he was from what I saw. I looked at my wife and said let's try to make it back home.. at that time he (I assume the owner) said let's see if I can find the part, he did, and said 'as soon as a machanic gets free he would fix it, and for us to go get some lunch'. So, before we could walk across the street and eat he calls and said it was fixed!! Unbeknownst to him I was looking as it was being fixed, it wasn't one of his mechanics getting their hands dirty.. it was him.. the owner! I almost cried. Who does that anymore, such compassion to his job to help out a total stranger in need, going above and beyond!
It's been weeks now since the repair and my auto hasn't missed a beat, I drive securely now pulling our RV!
THERE AREN'T ENOUGH STARS IN THE SKY TO RATE THIS PLACE... I feel so blessed to have been broke down in all places.. Umatilla, FL.”

“5/03/2024 - Umatilla Saw & Mower sent me to Mr. Joe to get 2 front replacement tires for my riding mower. Upon arrival I was greeted by Mr. Joe. He took care of me very quickly while making me feel like he had known me for a life time. He did not have the tires I needed, but he said he would have them in the next morning by 10 am. I returned the next day with my mower. This place was very busy for being noon on a Saturday. I was concerned if I would be able to have his staff put the tires on for me. Mr. Joe said it would not be a problem and his staff would work quickly to get it done. It was done within 45 minutes or less. The hospitality of Mr. Joe and his staff while we waited, the very reasonable prices and great customer service makes this a 5 star review. - Thank you Joe for sharing your family photos to a complete stranger. Umatilla is lucky to have your business. Many blessings to you and your staff. You have definitely earned my business in the future.”

“This is not what a typical mechanic shop looks like anymore! Most shops have a nice waiting room and all the flare. If you’re not from around here you might think this is not a shop who could take care of your new/old vehicle. You could be furthest from the truth. Also know that, shops that are pleasant to the eye come at an additional cost *wink*.

These guys know what they’re doing. They knew what the issue was and got it fixed up in no time. They were right on the money *no pun intended*.
