“The place was very well kept and clean, to the point that you can tell the owners care. Rooms are very compact but have what you need if you don't plan on spending a lot of time in the room. Parking was limited but we found a spot each night so there must be one for each room. Appeared to cater to over 65 which is fine with us. No elevator so reserve early if mobility is an issue.”

“We stayed at the Sunset Inn for one night just as a quick weelend getaway. The rooms are super cute with a retro style theme. Nice size rooms, comfortable bed, has a refrigerator, microwave, TV and keurig coffee maker. It's also at a great location that's right across the street from the beach and Sunset Pavillion. Can't wait to come back for a longer stay next time!”

“I have stayed at Suncoast several times in the past and Suncoast is alway one of my favorite hotels in Treasure Island.Intimate setting and I felt like I had the beach to myself. If you want a resort with a bar and live music this isn't your place.BUT if you are looking for a clean, quiet, relaxing visit at affordable room rates...and all the nightlife still within a short walk, You won't beat Suncoast!”

“Big shout out to the very hard working maintenance man Duane, making sure the parking lots are swept up of rocks to ensure bare footed beachers don't step on Rockies ??. He absolutely has a care for his customers and whole hearted integrity to his job and company. A very kind man that brought major smiles just from a neighborly conversation. Thankyou for making our stay. :)”

“Place is a little dated but that's what makes it cool. One of the best tourist destinations in Pinellas with the very best of beach bars and food offerings with in walking or a 10 minute trolly ride.”

“have to agree with the other reviews - cant beat this location if you can get by the miserable ladies in the front office!Grounds are well kept, rooms are clean, lots to do. We rented a boat one day, fishing gear another day, saw dolphins from the beach, people watched on the boardwalk, bbq'd for dinner, and made daquiris to enjoy poolside. Condo is walking distance to everything: shopping, live music, grocery store, restaurants - even Johns pass is pretty close. Highly recommend!Walkability: On the beach, walkable to restaurants, live music, and grocery store”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Our room was on the second floor and it was nice. It had a washer and dryer in the unit which I appreciated. We had no complaints. The customer service was excellent. Everyone was super nice and helpful. The pool and hot tub was a big hit. There’s another area with a pool for smaller children. The beach is right there off the resort and it was stunning. You will need to rent a beach chair and umbrella if you want those. The resort does have two boxes with toys, beach items and a few chairs but whoever gets it first gets it. There is a small bar located right down by the pool area. The ladies working there were wonderful :) There is also a restaurant onsite. They do close at 5:00 but their food was delicious. This resort is walking distance to Johns Pass, an ice cream shop next door and a convenient store across the street! You can’t go wrong staying here. We can’t wait to return!Rooms: Our room was great on the second floor. I have read that some rooms aren’t as nice so maybe request an updated one when booking.Nearby activities: There is tons to do. John’s pass is always fun. We rent a car and go to Clear Water as well.Walkability: About a 10 minute walk to John’s Pass. Totally worth the walk.”

“We started staying at the island inn a few years ago and come back sometimes twice a year to visit . We love the convenience of the Island Girl Tiki Bar at the pool . The owners Vikki and Scott and other bartenders Scott and Brian make us feel so welcome ! We call the island girl tiki bar our happy place ! The drinks are amazing and have such a tropical feel ! We usually start off with their famous Bloody Mary’s and move on next to their famous rum runners ! We always enjoy our time there and have met many new friends just sitting at the bar or by the pool . If you are ever in the Treasure Island area or walking on the beach here make sure to stop by and grab a tropical drink , trust me you will love it and they have such a variety !!!! Also very kid friendly ! They can make yummy fruity no alcohol drinks and have a variety of ice cream and popsicles !”
