John's Pass Freedom Boat location has added some great new boats. The staff there is very friendly and they take good care of you to insure you have an excellent boat outing. It's hard to find good employees, and I'd like to mention that Jamie there remembers my name and always welcomes me and my guests. She handles the boats expertly! My only slight negative is that they need a better ladder system on the new J6 Bayliners. It is a little difficult to climb down and to also bring it up on leaving. Otherwise, it handles well and is fun to drive.I've recommended Freedom Boat Club to many friends. I've been a member for 7 years and have truly enjoyed the experience!

Had a problem starting engine, probably a bad kill switch. Club was quick to order tow boat and had another boat ready when we returned. Saved the day! We expect problems- it's all about how you recover, and we appreciate the efforts!

All 3 staff were friendly and very helpful- smiling, speaking clearly in friendly tones. They were helpful in loading and unloading our gear and communicated perfectly upon arriving at dock, departing away from dock and returning to dock. I observed alert staff the entire time. The staff were respectfully friendly to one another as well. These behaviors I observed are reflective of a strong, working team led by a captain who teaches their crew to carry on in a professional manner. I did not notice a 'captain' on site, so I was impressed with the work ethic of the staff. Positivity is contagious and I have seen one dock hand employed by Freedom for many years who always greets us with a smile and I often greet them and or leave them with a short, friendly hug.I have been a member of FBC since 2020 and today was one of the best days in the club. The pontoon we used was only about a month old and it was our second time on it. I was glad to see it for the second time and my family and friends were very comfortable and happy riding on it. We got out into the Gulf of Mexico thru John's Pass easily and enjoyed the open water before returning into the canals thru Blind Pass. We docked at SeaDogs and a few passengers went in to to buy a drink. We went to the sandbar by John's Pass and then went to a nearby canal to anchor for lunch. We were blessed with many dolphin- sightings today. Thank you FBC for changing my life. I retired here from Albuquerque, NM in Dec. 2019 and thru your club, I was able to learn how to become a captain and then was able to visit in open-air on the water during Covid with my family and friends.

The girl at John's Pass marina that worked until 4pm was amazing. She was so very personable and helpful. She deserves a raise!

I believe this was the sunset cruise.We had no sun so no sunset but the cruise with Robin ? Was absolutely wonderful. Would do it again,saw a dolphin too!!

We used the Cypress Cay Pontoon out of Johns Pass Marina. The steering was so bad it took 2 hand and a lot of force to steer. I should have returned boat but toughed it out to not be delayed. Upon returning boat told the staff this boat was bad before we left, They agreed it was bad when they brought boat up to dock. This boat was unsafe what if steering failed when we were out.Very disappointed with quality of this boat and staff. I pay for this membership and expect the boats to be in good working order. I would like a response from management. Robert Hill

Our dock assistant was great ! She felt bad about our reserved boat not being able to go out. I feel bad for he, the fleet they have to work with is LESS than par. They had 3 boats not working. She help us in anyway she could. Give her a raise. In the mean time, get her some boats she can work with.
