“First of all—when I walked into VyStar, I had zero motivation, zero hope. I didn’t think I was going to get anything done. I strolled in, super low effort, and was like, “Hey… do you guys do walk-ins?” And honestly, I was already bracing myself for the “No, we can’t help you, make an appointment” nonsense that I’ve gotten at other banks (looking at you, Wells Fargo).

But they hit me with “Yeah, we can help you! We do walk-ins.”

WHAT?!? Excuse me?!?

I have never seen bankers available in real time who actually want to get business done. Normally, they’re just sitting there, available, but still making you schedule an appointment for no reason. So I was already impressed.

Now, completely my fault, I took a phone call that ran way longer than expected—like a full hour—so I missed my window. Totally on me. But even then, they were like, “It’s cool, we can still see you.” The only issue was I had a meeting to run to, so I couldn’t stay, but they set me up for the next day, no hassle.

Ashley & Yvonne are The Dream Team

So I came back the next day, and Ashley and Yvonne were absolutely incredible. They walked me through everything, step by step, and made the whole process stupid easy.

But here’s the thing that really caught me off guard—they were actually down-to-earth, relatable people.

Do you know how rare that is in banking?! You’re usually met with overworked, tired-of-this-job robots who can’t wait and take pleasure to hit you with a “Nope, can’t do that.” But Ashley and Yvonne? Completely different experience. I actually felt like, “Damn, this bank has my back.”

Like, if there’s a business banking opportunity or perk that I don’t even know about? I just know they’re the type to be like, “Hey, by the way, did you know you can do this?” And that is huge to me.

This is where Ashley took me out. When I first walked in she asked me, “How do you like your car?”

And I was like, “Huh? My car??”

She noticed what I pulled up in and started a whole conversation about third-row vehicles—which, if you know, you know. We instantly connected, just because she was paying attention. Most people are not that observant, but that tiny detail made it feel like I was talking to a friend, not just a banker.

And then—come to find out—Ashley is the freaking manager.

A Manager That’s Actually Present? Say What?!

How many times have you walked into a bank and actually seen the manager?
And then—how many times have you seen them actually helping people instead of hiding in an office?

I’ll wait.

That’s what makes Ashley different. She’s out there, on the floor, working with her team. Every time I come in, I see her engaged and available. She’s not pretending to be busy, not dodging customers, not hiding behind a desk. She’s there. And that speaks volumes about the culture at VyStar.

VyStar is IT.

Listen, I have my personal account with Navy Federal, but when it came to business banking? Absolutely not. At some point I’ll probably move my NF account too.

Navy Federal takes 7-10 business days just to send you the documents you need to even start opening an account. No. Thank. You.

When I first saw a VyStar pop up in Titusville, I thought, “Great, another bank. Just what we need.” But turns out, it’s exactly what we needed.

We can go ahead and clear out these Regions Banks. Wells Fargo? Pack it up. Somebody chase Chase outta here.

“Maria is the Branch Manager in Titusville and she is simply the best Bank Manager I have ever had the pleasure to deal with for the last 15-20 years now, she is sweet and a delight very helpful and simply a very nice person, if you don't like her, you need to take a look at yourself for issues. I have banked here for 15 years and the cocoa branch for 45 years, Got my first car loan with them in cocoa I'm 62 now, Been in Cocoa,PSJ,Merritt Island Area 50 years now and SunTrust bank has treated me very well all those years, I have never had a problem with the local branch's. I travel to other country's and now and then I will get hit with a card scanner in an airport, twice going to the outback in Australia it happened, SunTrust bank was awesome when that happened ,I talked to them by email, they got it all taken care of and I had a new card in a week and thats excellent as I was out in the Bush and its hard to get anything there. Locally they have always given me superior service, Tellers are always polite and very helpfull,A time or two I opened other bank accts to have a extra emergency card at Bank of America and other banks that treated me awful I ended up closing them ,No need to have them as SunTrust has always taken good care of me locally and around the world, But at there suggestion I got a Wallet that blocks the scanners very inexpensive and since them have traveled to china twice and the Philippines and around the USA with out any problems at all,Just a Top notch bank with no problems, The only fees i encounter is using out of network ATMs thats my choice and once in a while ill forget to get my deposit in time in the bank and a automatic debit will cause me to over draft a small amount and its rare and SunTrust has always waived the fee no problem, That's a class bank! And if your getting a bunch of fees on a fee free checking acct That's something your doing wrong as there are no fees long as you do not constantly overdraw your acct or play games, you wont have any fees there are no service fees etc,only when you use your ATM card in a out of network bank and all banks do that ,The Manager in Titusville's Branch I've know for many years and she is as nice a woman as you would ever want to meet as long as you treat her and her staff with the respect they deserve you will never have a problem at this bank, Trust me, The Cocoa Branch is also very good but I don't use it as much as I used to when I lived on the island, but they also have treated me very well .Professional Banking and customer service at its best rest assured!”

“I love this bank! We have been banking with Truist which was SunTrust and BB&T for almost 30 years. They take care of me and my business like we are family. We are all on first name basis which you don’t get at most banks. You are just a number. Not at this branch! They are great and that’s why we continue to do business with them.
